Returns

Policies

  • All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt or packing slip.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • All products must be unused and undamaged to ensure a full credit. We will not accept Cash On Delivery packages (COD) or third-party billing for returned merchandise. All COD packages will be refused.
  • We cannot be responsible for items that we do not receive.
  • In the event an item is damaged during shipment, please contact the carrier with your tracking number.
  • Original form of payment will be credited for your refund. If the item was a gift you will receive credit in the form of a Gift Certificate to be used on verabradley.com
  • Returns over $500 without a proof of purchase cannot be processed. Purchases for resale will not be accepted for returns, regardless of dollar amount.
  • Returns must be prepaid, insured by the customer, and shipped via the carrier of your choice.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with these policies.

Online Returns

  • You may return your new or unused product within 60 days of purchase with the original Vera Bradley receipt or online packing slip.
  • Refunds will be made in the form of original payment or an Electronic Gift Certificate (EGC).
  • An EGC can be used on verabradley.com or in Vera Bradley Retail stores.
  • All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt or packing slip.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy.

Steps to complete an online return

  1. Login
  2. Repack Merchandise
    • Package the merchandise in its original container, if available.
    • Enclose the completed Return Form and the original Vera Bradley receipt or packing slip.
  3. Ship Merchandise
    • Affix the return label to the container.
    • Ship the container to:

Store Returns

  • A new, unused item may be returned within 60 days of purchase.
  • You may receive a refund either in the form of in-store credit or the original form of payment for the amount that was paid.
  • Items without a receipt that are new and unworn may be returned for the lowest sold price for a merchandise credit.
  • If your purchase date is less than 60 days, you may return your items with receipt.
    • Purchased from a Vera Bradley Retail Store, please return your item/s to a Vera Bradley Retail location.
      • All Vera Bradley company-owned Retail stores will accept returns for online orders.
    • Purchased from an Authorized Retailer (ex. Hallmark or Macy's), please return your item/s to an Authorized Retailer. For further assistance please contact them directly.

Steps to make an in-store return

  1. Present the original packing slip or proof of purchase to the store associate.
  2. Present a valid Driver’s License or Government issued ID when returning product.
  • Please allow 2-3 weeks for a credit to appear on your original form of payment, or a gift certificate to be issued.

  • Returns over $500 without a proof of purchase cannot be processed.

Gift Returns

  • In the event we do not have original proof of purchase, your new and used item may be returned without a receipt for the lowest sold price for a merchandise credit.
  • Item must be new and unused.
  • Refunds will be made in the form of an Electronic Gift Certificate that can be used in Vera Bradley Retail stores or on verabradley.com

Steps to complete a return without proof of purchase

  1. Pack Merchandise
    • Package merchandise
    • Complete and enclose this Return Form.
  2. Ship Merchandise
    • Affix the return label to the container.

  3. If for some reason the item is no longer available, we will issue an Electronic Gift Certificate for your product for following amount
    • Accessories - $5.00
    • Handbags & Travel Bags - $10.00

Disney Springs Tender and Returns

We are happy to accept returns made with Magic Bands, Disney Rewards, or Disney Gift Cards at the Disney Springs location with the original form of payment and following the Vera Bradley Customer Return policy. Returns made for items purchased with the Magic Bands, Reward Cards, and Gift Cards tenders at Vera Bradley Retail Store (excluding Disney Springs) will receive a Vera Bradley Gift Card.

Personalized and Monogrammed Returns

  • You may return your new or unused product within 60 days of purchase with the original Vera Bradley receipt or online packing slip.
  • Refunds will be made in the form of original payment or an Electronic Gift Certificate (EGC).
  • An EGC can be used on verabradley.com or in Vera Bradley Retail stores.
  • All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt or packing slip.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy.
  • Fees related to Personalization will not be refunded.

Damaged or Defective Returns

  • In the event an item is damaged upon receipt or has a manufacturing defect, please complete our online return process.
  • Items will be inspected and a determination made as to the cause of defect.
  • In the event an item is damaged during shipment, please contact the carrier with your tracking number.
  • If a gift box is damaged in shipping, please email Vera Bradley Customer Service at any time, or call during normal business hours at (888) 855-8372.

We do not process exchanges at this time; however, you may order a replacement item at any time by placing a new order, and you may return your previous order for a refund using our online return process listed above.
