Orders and Payment

Will I receive a confirmation of my purchase?

  • Yes, you will receive one or more of the following emails after your order is placed.
  • If you submit a return you will receive the following email.

What if I didn't receive a confirmation email?

  1. In your email check your trash and spam folders. Maybe the email was routed to one of those folders by the inbox's mistake.
  2. If the email does not exist you can always sign into your account and view your order history, tracking, and return information 24 hours a day.
  3. If you do not have an account you can always check your order status as a guest using our Order Status lookup.

How do I pay with a Gift Card or Electronic Gift Certificate?

Electronic Gift Cards and Gift Cards are submitted as a payment method in Checkout. To submit a gift card follow the steps below.

  1. Toggle the menu open to activate the Gift Card section.
  2. Enter your 19 digit gift card number and security code.
  3. If your gift card balance is less than the amount owed you may now enter your credit card for the remaining balance.

Important notes about Electronic Gift Cards (EGC) and Gift Cards

  • Gift Cards and EGCs can be redeemed at verabradley.com or in stores.
  • Gift Cards and EGCs with a balance greater than the order total, the amount of the order total will be deducted upon final purchase and remaining dollars will be available for future use.
  • Gift Cards and EGCs with a balance less than the order total, the balance will be applied to the order and the Gift Card or EGC will be disabled. Payment via your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express is required for the outstanding balance.
  • Gift Cards and EGCs are non-transferable, non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash.
  • Lost or stolen Gift Cards and EGCs can only be replaced with proof of purchase.
  • Gift Card and EGC purchases will be charged applicable sales tax.
  • Only one Gift Card or EGC per order will be accepted.

Shipping

Why did I receive my order in separate shipments?

We make every effort to ship your items together. However, to ensure your items arrive as quickly as possible, we may have to ship from either our Distribution Center or one of our Vera Bradley Retail Stores.

  • If your order is split up there are no additional fees or shipping charges
  • In a multiple shipment situation you will receive multiple shipping emails. For example, an email the item the ships from our Distribution Center and another for the item that ships from a Vera Bradley Retail Store.
  • Orders will have an initial pending charge for the entire order; but your credit card will be charged for items on each individual shipment as they are shipped

How do I track my order?

We offer many ways to track you order!

  • Shipping Confirmation Email - We will send a shipping confirmation with tracking information to the email address that you provided during Checkout.

Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Verabradley.com offers you the convenience of shipping items to more than one address on a single order.

  • If you are shipping to multiple addresses, you will receive a shipping confirmation email for each shipment. For example, if you choose to send to three different locations, you will receive three shipping confirmation emails.
  • Your credit card will be charged for items on each individual shipment as they are shipped.
  • Shipping charges apply for each individual address.
  • The shipping charge is based on the method chosen and the total of products being shipped to that specific location.

What is your return policy?

Online Return Policy

  • You may return your new or unused product within 60 days of purchase with the original Vera Bradley receipt or online packing slip.
  • Refunds will be made in the form of original payment or an Electronic Gift Certificate (EGC).
  • An EGC can be used on verabradley.com or in Vera Bradley Retail stores.
  • All returns must be accompanied by the original receipt or packing slip.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy.

Store Return Policy

  • A new, unused item may be returned within 60 days of purchase.
  • You may receive a refund either in the form of in-store credit or the original form of payment for the amount that was paid.
  • Items without a receipt that are new and unworn may be returned for the lowest sold price for a merchandise credit.
  • If your purchase date is less than 60 days, you may return your items with receipt.
    • Purchased from a Vera Bradley Retail Store, please return your item/s to a Vera Bradley Retail location.
      • All Vera Bradley company-owned Retail stores will accept returns for online orders.
    • Purchased from an Authorized Retailer (ex. Hallmark or Macy's), please return your item/s to an Authorized Retailer. For further assistance please contact them directly.

How do I return an item?

Steps to complete an online return

  1. Login
  2. Repack Merchandise
    • Package the merchandise in its original container, if available.
    • Enclose the completed Return Form and the original Vera Bradley receipt or packing slip.
  3. Ship Merchandise
    • Affix the return label to the container.
    • Ship the container to:

Steps to make an in-store return

  1. Present the original packing slip or proof of purchase to the store associate.
  2. Present a valid Driver’s License or Government issued ID when returning product.

My item arrived defective, what should I do?

In the event an item is defective upon receipt or has a manufacturing defect, please fill out a Return Form with defect or damage noted on the form and follow the return process. Items will be inspected and a determination made as to the cause of defect. In the event an item is damaged during shipment, please contact the carrier with your tracking number.

How long does it take to process a return?

Please allow 2-3 weeks for a credit to appear on your original form of payment or an Electronic Gift Certificate (EGC) to be issued.
