I purchased this bag/tote in MOON BLOOMS. It's beautiful! At first I was concerned about it bag being too large. I'm carrying it as my everyday purse. The things I love about this bag is first the pattern...It's classy with a touch of whimsy. It has just the right amount of color without screaming LOOK AT ME. It can be used dressed up or casual. I love the faux leather & feet on the bottom. It can be wiped clean easily. I love that the handles & strap are a solid color & not the cloth print...it makes it look classier...I love the faux leather trim that runs up the front of the tote. It helps it to keep its shape & it's more structured. I love that I can carry it using the handles or the strap. I do wish the strap was adjustable. I'm 5'4" and the strap is too long when I wear it as a crossbody or over the shoulder but I solved that problem by knotting the top of the strap. It fits great now!

Roomy and stylish, but wish it had a better strap
I ordered the Trapeze Tote in Moon Blooms sight unseen and it’s really lovely; professional enough for work but with a touch of whimsy. The faux leather trim really complements this bag and feels nice to the touch. Even the zipper pulls and exterior pocket are trimmed in it, adding a finished look. I’ve been using it for several days now and have found some pros and cons to this style.
It's roomy! It fits more than I thought it would. The bottom width is about 6 inches, enough to fit several binders, books or file folders. The length easily accommodates my 13-inch MacBook Pro with plenty of room to add a sleeve for protection. The recessed zipper – it’s not a breakaway zipper; a faux leather-trimmed tab at the end makes it easy to grab and pull the zipper shut – keeps everything securely inside.
There is a zippered pocket that’s approximately 8 inches wide and 5 inches deep and three slip pockets that measure about 4 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. The slip pockets are not quilted as they are in some Vera bags, which leave them feeling a little flimsy. I don’t find them useful right now because I'm afraid things will fall out, but perhaps I will in the future.
There is one exterior slip pocket whose interior measures approximately 6 by 6 inches, though the faux leather-trimmed entry point is a little narrower. It feels very secure and I wouldn’t hesitate to store my phone, keys or something like a ZIP ID Case in it. The bottom of the bag is trimmed in faux leather with four small silver-tone feet.
The smaller carry handles were rather stiff at first and it bothered me that they stood up straight even when using the longer strap, but after a few days of use they started to relax and fall flatter against the tote when it’s sitting on the floor or over my shoulder.
The negative to this tote is its 36-inch removable shoulder strap. As another reviewer has noted, it is not adjustable. I’m 5 feet, 8 inches tall and the tote falls a little lower than I’d prefer – hitting my leg about 2 inches above my knee. The strap also is quite thin and uncomfortable; it digs into my shoulder after a five- to eight-minute walk from the parking lot to my office. I also worry about how it will hold up over time under the bag’s weight.
Overall, I would recommend this bag even just for its aesthetics because it really is a beauty. Time will tell how well it holds up to everyday use.

Good for business travel but strap too long
I just received my Trapeze Tote in Moon Bloom. I am planning to use it for my business trips and it should work well as my standard size laptop fits in perfect. I will have room for lots of other items that I usually carry in my briefcase. However, the only thing I was a bit disappointed is that the removable strap is not adjustable and is too long for me. Then the handle is too short to wear on the shoulder. Also, there is only one outside pocket in the front. I think a second pocket at the back would be nice. Overall I am happy with the purchase and can't wait to use it on my next business trip! Love the Moon Bloom color too. Has a nice, professional touch!!!
