I was thrilled to see this bag was being offer in microfiber. As many of us Vera fans know, the hipster is an amazing bag. Comfortable, lightweight, very roomy yet has a slim design. I have one in the floral nightingale pattern which is adorable but its nice to be able to switch to a solid color as well. I had a hard time choosing between the three colors available because they are all beautiful. I ended up getting the black one which is simply gorgeous. Anyone who is debating whether to get this bag or not, go for it, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Sleek, functional, versatile; best crossbody ever
I own several (8) of the print Vera hipsters, and have really liked them. My husband bought this for me, in cobalt, for Christmas. It is beautiful, holds everything I need, and because it is microfiber, it keeps that lovely slim profile better than the cloth hipsters.(too easy to overload a cloth hipster with unnecessary items and have a bulged look.) I love the thicker quilting on this bag...makes it much more durable.
On the back is a full zipper which holds all those items you want to keep private. Front zipper and slip pocket are great for easy, quick access to phone, coupons, etc. The three slip pockets on the inside hold my hand sanitizer, pen and pencil, and my wallet (which is actually a man's trifold...try it ladies; It holds everything and fits in most slip pockets.)
I actually like the structure of the strap and find it very functional.
I'm sure it's just personal preference, but I am a small built woman and like a hands-free purse that holds all of my daily items without looking like I'm carrying luggage. This is so sleek and attractive...for casual or dress.

Great for travel
I bought this in Magenta and used it for a 2.5 week business trip. Fabulous. Great as a crossbody and elegant as a shoulder bag. Well-thought out pockets inside and out. It is roomy enough to hold essentials yet sleek enough to not look bulky. Love love. thinking about getting one in cobalt!
