I purchased this rolling bag for a trip to Europe. Before I even started my cruise the retractable handle was bent by porters along the way making the handle pretty much useless. For the price I paid for this bag, I would expect a higher quality product. It doesn't sound like this kind of damage would be covered by Vera Bradley's warranty either.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kell08 Newly styled 27" Spinner not a good value
My daughter has the 27" spinner in Mocha Rouge that I loved and would occasionally borrow. So for an upcoming trip, I decided to purchase my own and ordered the 27" spinner in MoonDrops online, sight unseen. What a mistake! But, unfortunately, due to time constraints, I kept it and used it. So far, after using it only once, the quality is fine and the bright pattern made it easily identifiable in baggage claim but my version in MoonDrops is definitely smaller than my daughters ESPECIALLY the outside zip pocket. And my newer version didn't come with the shoe bag, cosmetic case, garment bag, etc that my daughter's came with. And based on other reviews, I'm hoping my bag stays functional which is the LAST thing I want to worry about on vacation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Siebreeze Extremely Disappointed in the Quality
I love Vera Bradley bags and have several of the smaller totes. So when a design that I loved came out (Flower Shower) in the suitcase I was so excited to purchase. I purchased this suitcase in the Spring of 2014 and didn't actually travel with the bag until April 2015 for the first time. My first trip was fine, with the exception that one of the zipper tabs to the main compartment (with the Vera Bradley name) came off in transit and made it difficult to use that zipper for opening and closing, luckily the second zipper was still intact. Other than that small problem, I found the four wheels to be very useful and easy to roll and was so pleased to be traveling with my beautiful bag. Unfortunately, my second trip (which I'm currently on) has not been a good experience. Within the first week of a one month trip traveling all around Italy the handle snapped. I spent a horrible day traveling through train stations and the streets of major city's bent over pulling/pushing my bag with the top strap. After another unpleasant day of travel, we were somewhere that had tools and I was able to pull up the broken bar and duct tape the handle back together - however the handle doesn't go down now and is permanently stuck in the up position, which makes for awkward travel on trains, taxis and buses. Also, the integrity and strength in the handle is compromised, even with the duct tape, so I have to be cautious when lifting and pulling the bag. After another week of travel I started to notice that the zipper track on the bottom corner was pulling away from the material. Just yesterday the one remaining good zipper pulled off the track where the zipper was coming apart. Now I'm down to using the broken zipper and being extremely careful around the pulling apart corner so as not to have my only remaining way to close my bag break apart.
Needless to say I'm very disappointed in the quality of this bag, especially considering the price. If not for the price and hope that this will all be covered under warranty I would have abandoned this bag weeks ago. My multiple transfers while traveling have been made more difficult with a broken and continuing to fall apart suitcase. After returning home I'll contact customer service to see about repairs or replacement. I will update to share that experience once this issue as been resolved.
