Got away using this as a clutch! This is a fabulous cosmetic bag not only for travel, but for every day use. It stands up on the counter and has pockets inside, so you can actually keep your daily essentials in order. Went on vacation once and forgot to take my clutch purse for a fancy dinner out. In a pinch, I put my wallet, lipstick and cellphone in this and used it as a clutch. It was perfect! A gal in the bathroom even complimented me on it, saying how cute it was & asking where I got it. Exactly What I Needed I am a Registered Veterinary Technican and this bag is exactly what I was looking for! This bag is perfect for holding my stethoscope and the pockets are great for holding the additional heads for my scope. In the larger mesh pocket I have room to hold my safety glasses and my dental mirror. Right now I travel between two clinics and it's nice to have what I need in such a stylish bag! I use this in my new Convertible Tote and the combination of the two is wonderful! December 10, 2011

it has pockets! I'm so happy that Vera finally came up with a cosmetics bag that has pockets inside. I purchased the black one and the Baroque pattern inside is so nice. And this bag is BIG (but not too big!). The three elastic mesh pouches along the sides keep smaller items from swimming around in the bag, and it has a wide base that sits on top of a hotel counter when traveling. The wide base also helps it stay upright in your VB bag when it's tucked in between your clothes and other items. January 19, 2011
