The Signature Collection is made of 100% cotton. We recommend machine washing (cool/gentle cycle) with mild detergent, then air-drying. Do not bleach. Please bring back "Betsy bag"
Do you really have over 25 pages asking to bring back the "Betsy Bag"? If so wouldn't you think it would be a great idea to do so? Not because my name is Betsy but because it was a great bag in every way.

Bring Betsy Back!!!
Previously, I bought 2 Betsy's and was looking for a new color, only to find that they aren't being made anymore! I loved the quilted inside pockets--perfect for, sunglasses, iPod, and phone. Also, the zip top is essential for me; magnets tend to gradually de-magnetize my work ID card, which is a huge hassle to replace. The two I am considering for replacements are the Mandy, which, on-line, looks kind of like a tote bag, not a purse, and the Glenna, which, although good-looking, has far fewer inside pockets, and they don't appear to be quilted. WHY WAS THIS DISCONTINUED??? It was not showy but perfectly acceptable in appearance and ENORMOUSLY practical.

Save the "BETSY" !
PLEASE do not discontinue the Betsy! I think that I have had Betsys for 20 years. It is the BEST purse that I have ever had - and I have Many Betsys - not because they wear out, but because I Love several patterns. The new Mandy is NOT a good replacement for the Betsy. The top on the Mandy is a strange shape - and it does NOT look as attractive - it looks utilitarian. The Betsy is Beautiful, functional, practical, and even Fun! I Love the Betsy and the Little Betsy for use as a Tote for Needlework projects, too. PLEASE do Not discontinue the BETSY or the LITTLE BETSY! PLEASE!

discontinued Betsy
To say I am upset about the Betsy being discontinued, is an under statement. Unfortunately I use a walker to get around and this purse fits over the handles of my it. It's much easier for me to put my purse over the handles and I don't have anything on my shoulders. The Mandy is so so but it's just not my reliable Betsy. I have been a Vera Bradley devotee for many, many years and it break my heart to hear there will be no more Betsy. I know it's one of the most popular, please reconsider.

Betsy Please
I hear you are going to discontinue the Betsy. I really wish wouldn't. It has been awhile since I've even been back on your site because I could't find the Betsy. The Mandy will not do. Just happened to check back today and saw the Betsy for Breast Cancer and I will be getting that one. I really wish you wouldn't get rid of the Betsy.

Missing the Betsy
The Betsy is my favorite Vera bag - it is the perfect size. The others I have tried are either too big - things get lost or else too little and everything does not fit.
Please, please bring it back. It is a classic.

JUST LOVE THE BETSY
Please, please, do not retire the BETSY. It is the perfect size for
everyday use for most of us women. I bought he MANDY and just
don't love it like I love the BETSY. Please rethink about this. You will
have alot of unhappy women trying to find a replacement.

I used to have the Betsy as a tote for daily usage, but since the Villager has been on sale, I got that one and returned the Betsy.The Betsy is a nice tote, but I would definitely recommend the Villager.

Don't eliminate Betsy!!!!!
I was just recently introduced to the Betsy and I love the size. It is perfect and I am very fussy when it comes to purses. And now I found out that you want to discontinue this style. I have read some of the other reviews and they are sooo positive towards this style. Don't give up on the Betsy!!
