Great "LBD" bag
My 20-something daughter was a bridesmaid in an out of town wedding with lots of "cocktail party" type events to go to. In addition, perhaps because it was an evening wedding, the bride asked all the bridesmaids to wear an LBD cocktail dress of their choosing (knee length), as well as dressy black heels, for their bridesmaids' attire. My daughter was in a dilemna as to a nice bag to use for the wedding. She wanted something small, but large enough for makeup, cell phone, keys, kleenex, comb, and brush. But also elegant dressy and in black. She also wanted a strap that could be worn on the shoulder or on the wrist. Finally, the price had to be right, ie, not too expensive.
Well, the weekend we went shopping this beautiful LBB (little black bag) was new in the nearby VB store. It totally filled the bill, and I treated D to this bag full price. It was worth every penny. Not only did it serve her well at all the wedding parties that weekend, but for the wedding and reception, she was able to fit a pair of "dressy" black flip flops in the bag along with her other necessities, and she was able to switch to more comfortable shoes during the reception without ever looking less than a perfect Audrey Hepburn.
This is an elegant litlle bag that holds a lot, functions well with a LBD and heels, can go casual too, and if you spill a little champagne on it, not to worry, it cleans up great. It was worth full price, and is a bargain on sale. Highly recommend.
