its like the story of the three bears. This one's too small this one's too big, well, this one's just right...its so right I am going to order it in another pattern.

This is the perfect bag! I love the hipster, but it's just not big enough. I have a 6 year old and 3 year old, and I needed something to hold an extra change of clothes for my little one, snacks, toys, plus all my stuff. I can fit everything in here! I am also in grad school, so when I go out to study I can fit my iPad, keyboard, small notebook, and pencil case plus my wallet, keys, sunglasses, phone, and lip gloss. I got it in Olivia Pink during the online clearance sale and I love it! I will definitely be asking for another one in one of the newer colors for Christmas!

I have always loved the On the Go bag, but after changes were made to the design I didn't care for it anymore. So I decided to try the Carryall Crossbody when there was a big online sale. It's comparable in size to the On the Go, but I was so disappointed that there is no zipper pocket inside, but it is on the outside. I use that pocket for store coupons, business cards and other flat items. The bag is ok, and I'm using it, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

I am a sucker for any kind of crossbody bag. I had been eyeing this one in flower shower for a while. I went to my local retailer today in hopes they had one and they did! As soon as I got could, I transferred all of the contents(turn lock wallet, two glasses cases, checkbook, small cosmetic trio bag, brush, pen, lotion, and hand sanitizer) from my cargo sling into my new carryall crossbody. I was surprised that the carryall could hold everything I had in my cargo sling since it is quite a bit larger. I love the two sort of hidden pockets on the front. I use these for my keys and cellphone to provide quick access. Also love the back zipper pocket to other things for quick access. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. This is my first carryall crossbody, but definitely won't be my last!

Almost as good as the Mom's Day Out
The Mom's Day Out is my perfect crossbody bag, though I don't have young children. I bought the Carryall to compare. While I like the carryall, it needs a thicker strap. It doesn't fit as comfortably as the Mom's Day Out and it puts more pressure on the shoulders than the MDO/thicker strap. At first, I was disappointed that the outside pockets were no longer pleated (as they are with the MDO), but the Carryall outside pockets are a bit deeper and I like that more than the pleats.
The bottom also isn't as hard as the MDO, but I haven't found that to be an issue.
The end result is that I'm very pleased with the Carryall and feel that it's a close substitute to the Mother's Day out bag. The only negative is the thinner strap.
Now if only the original Accordian wallet and the original Saddle Up crossbody would be returned!

Ok, but....a couple of problems.
As someone else stated in another review, it is difficult NOT to compare this bag to the Mom's Day Out. They are basically the same bag, the Carryall is just the "non-mom" version. That being said, I am a mom and I still bought it. My youngest is two and I wanted something similar to the MDO but without the taffeta lining. This is certainly big enough to carry my basics: toddler t-shirt and shorts, 2 diapers and travel wipes, my Euro wallet, check book, cell phone, and small items such as chap stick. It holds everything with room to spare, but here is the downfall. The strap is more narrow than the strap on the MDO and the Hipster (which I LOVE, but doesn't have room for an extra change of clothes, diapers and wipes.) Because the strap is more narrow, it doesn't sit well and "feel good" while carrying it. I don't think that I have anything heavy in it, only what I listed above, but it still feels heavier. It also sits weird when I carry it as a crossbody. Because it is wider at the bottom than the top, it sticks out and feels like I have a huge saddlebag at my side! That is somewhat strange since I didn't feel that way when carrying the MDO.
To sum it up: The strap is too narrow. It needs to be as wide as the MDO or even wider like the Hipster. The base is also a little too wide. If the base were a little less wide and the strap was wider, then it would be perfect.
I want to like this bag so I will give it a try, but I have a feeling that I will switch back to my MDO. :(

This bag is almost there as far as being a great bag. Don't know why they made the strap so thin. It's thinner both in terms of width and thickness than On the Go which is a smaller bag. On the Go uses a wider and thicker padded strap.
Also, the inside slip pockets are just thin pieces of fabric sewn with a simple stitch between pockets on only one side of the bag. They should have done these pockets similar to On the Go or Cargo Sling which uses padded/quilted fabric and bias tape seaming to give the pockets more body. This helps keep your items in the pocket rather than flopping out into the bottom of the bag. Having the pockets on both sides also helps keep things better organized.
Wish VB would add an attached key leash on the inside of all their medium to larger sized bags and totes.
Good bag in terms of size as it's in between On the Go and Cargo Sling.

NO hand bag should EVER be narrower at the top than at the bottom. This is a wonderful bag, but it is too narrow at the top. You stick your hand in to get an item and you get scratced by the zipper. When there is such a BIG BOTTOM such as this bag has, the top should be in equal opening. Sorry, I just don't like this bag.

Best Vera Ever
I purchased the Crossbody Carryall about a month ago in Clementine. Where has it been??!! This the perfect bag for me (very round, 5", 56YO). It carries everything I need and more.
For example: When you first see it, it seems small but the bottom opens up beautifully without making it awkward. Oh, and will stand up on its own. On one side, there are 2 pockets which are perfect for my iPhone 4s in an Otterbox case and my work ID (these are very deep pockets and aren't secured so be careful). The other side has a large zipper pocket (which, right now, has a few letters). Inside are 2 nice pockets which carry my pill case, inhalator, 2 flashdrives in a case, and mints. Inside the bag, I have an iPad Mini (in a case), a Turn Lock Wallet, a Brush & Pencil makeup bag, small journal, big bunch of keys, and a pen--whew! I normally carry a Dooney & Bourke bag but I couldn't take the weight on my back and shoulders—with just the weight of bag alone! This is the perfect weight and stays on my shoulders. I will be getting another in a different pattern. Highly recommend!

A good choice for a crossbody bag
I have this bag in Citron. It is a beautiful bag. I did find myself going back to my On-the-Go. I think it's the height of the bag. The On-theGo is a little shorter which works better for me, seems a little sleeker. But this a great bag and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
