So cute, but Becky breaks too easily After reading reviews, I still bought these because they are so cute. Sad to say even after very careful care, they broke. I can't justify buying a new pair for the cost. March 17, 2014
Perfect for me! So what if they are plastic; most readers are. I've had my Becky readers for 3 years and I just now broke them; I'm buying 2 more pair; 1 for the house and 1 for the car. I like the narrow-ness of the lenses so I can see the gauges and instrument panel in the car while still being able to look above them; similar to bi-focals only without the aggravation of bi-focals. And these are stylish! February 16, 2014
Just bought 2 more pair. I love the Becky readers in my favorite pattern, Symphony in Hue. Just today, I am purchasing 2 more pair. I have purchased 2 pair in the past. I like to have reading glasses everywhere, so why not have my favorite ones. I see the other reviews about the plastic and them breaking. I have only broken one pair and that was in the hinge. Yes, they are plastic. Yes, you must be careful with them. Yes, they are fabulous Vera. So don't worry about them being plastic. Know that you are paying for the pattern and the brand. May 15, 2013
Becky's don't last long I have had 2 pairs of these. I like them because they look nice and are lightweight. I can see well in them. However, they break so easily. Just threw my second, and last, pair away. Boo. March 25, 2013
Don't waste your money These glasses are not worth the money. They are very flimsy, cheap plastic, and mine broke in less than 6 months. I opened them up to put them on, and the ear piece snapped in half in my hand. The hinge itself did not break, just the cheap plastic. Very disappointed! Very unlike my many other Vera Bradley products. October 14, 2012
Nice look, not comfortable I have several pair of Vera Bradley readers in various styles and this is the only pair that is not comfortable. After I got them, I noticed the comment, perfect for smaller faces. I am a petite person with a large head, so that could be why they are never comfortable to wear for any length of time. I love these Readers! Please make more. I have several pair of these readers, I just love them and I wish Vera Bradley would make more! Originally, they came in brown, blue and multicolored. I have all three. I like them because they are lightweight, fit my face perfectly and are quite comfortable. They come with an adorable matching case so I don't know why they would break at the bottom of a woman's purse. I keep mine in the case, tucked into an inside pocket of my purse- of- the- moment and no problems! My problem is that I lose them here and there-I have many pairs of readers all over the house. WISH THEY WOULD CONTINUE TO MAKE THIS KIND OF READER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE them! July 24, 2011
Becky Readers Beg to be Broken Since deciding to wear my contacts I began looking for readers for anythng up close. I have looked at several brands that can be purchased at local bookstores, grocery stores, or pharmacies. They were not stylish so I held out and searched the Vera Bradley site. I was very excited when I saw the style and color of the readers, but when they arrive two days ago my excitement turned to disappointment. These are by far the flimsiest readers I have seen since my search began in August 2010. The plastic is so thin the frame seems like something purchased from a quarter vending maching. I have returned them and started seaching for something more durable. These wouldn't survive a day in the bottom of a woman's purse. February 18, 2011
Pretty Fine Fine-Print Reader When you need help reading the menu as you're out to lunch with friends, these stylish Readers brighten your face and (almost) make an annoyance fun. January 21, 2011
Very cute readers I'm a 40-something woman and just started needing reading glasses. These are fun and very, very cute. The frame matches the cute little case, and don't look like 'granny glasses' at all. I have received lots of compliments on these. January 19, 2011
