I love this wallet style. It's lightweight, yet big enough to hold all my cards, cash, coins, and receipts (I don't carry my checkbook). I love that it zips up so nothing falls out, and I appreciate being able to easily access coins out of the coin pocket. This is the item that got me started on my Vera collection--I was given a zip-around wallet in another pattern and loved it so much that I set about to purchase a matched purse, wallet, and tote bag set. I don't use it as a wristlet but I appreciate that it can be used as such. Now that I've bought a backpack in a new pattern, I'll be purchasing another zip-around to match.

BIG disappointment. Could not easily get coins out. Put it away and will not use it. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Sorry.

Zip-Around Wallet
This wallet was given to me as a birthday gift about four years ago. It is by far is my favorite wallet ever! Since I received it as a gift, I have given it as a gift several times and even bought a few as golf prizes for our Club's 9 Hole Women's Golf Invitational Tournament. Everyone who has received it has loved it!

Perfection
I am in love with this wallet. I've been on th hunt for a cute wallet that i can use that will last a while. I put all of my things that i had in my previous wallet (cash,change,gift cards,library card,etc.) and there is still so much more room. I absolutely love this thing

Cute and Slim
This wallet is perfect for someone not carrying a bunch of cards with them all the time. The design of it is adorable and functional, and it fits nine cards comfortably (or more if you stack one behind another). I like this wallet because of the zip closure - it makes it feel more secure. I also love the soft texture of the wallet. I wish there were maybe two more pockets on the side with the ID photo slot, but I also do like the "hidden" slot on that side of the wallet as well.

This Wallet is Perfect
I love this wallet it has just enough pockets for my often used cards and the id slot is not too tight so it is easy to remove it when I need too. The little pen/pencil holder is a nice touch and the wrist handle is perfect.

One of the best wallets I have ever owned
I bought this wallet in Jazzy Blooms and have been using it for about a month now. I love it. I have space to carry my credit and debit cards, license and a few other cards needed daily. There is space for approximately 8 cards. Though I carry more than one card in a few of the slots There are two pockets that could fit cash. I use one for cash and the other to hold my checkbook and receipts. There is also a pen holder which is nice for when I am writing a check, so I don't need to search whatever purse I am carrying for a pen.
I appreciate the slim profile so that I can carry it in any of my may purses, small or large. It can also be used as a wristlet for when I just need my wallet and phone. I have been able to fit my iPhone 4s in with all the normal items and zipped it just fine.

Best VB Wallet So Far
This wallet is great! It has a lot of card slots for things like credit/debit cards, insurance cards, and other cards you might need. It has room for cash(which is nice because other VB wallets did not have a designated spot for it.) It even has room for your checkbook. Mine is just the checkbook, but it seems like there would be enough room for a checkbook with a cover or other case. There is also a nice id slot and a card size slot meant for cards you don't necessarily want people to see. Even with it completely full it doesn't bulge out and look like there is tons of stuff in it which is a plus. Overall I am very happy that I purchased this wallet and would recommend it to anyone!

Potential To Be The BEST Wallet With A Few Changes
I have tried many different Vera Bradley wallet styles and the Zip Around Wallet is definitely my favorite. Now with that being said, I think it could be even better with a few changes.
Most of my frustrations are because of the orientaion of the pockets or openings. Wallets of this size are usually designed to be opened with an upper half and a lower half, not right and left sides. The ID window and single slip pocket are open at the bottom closest to the zipper so when you hold the wallet open, they are upside down. Same thing as the exterior zip pocket. When the wallet is open, the zip pocket is upside down. It's not only frustrating, it's confusing. The ID window and small single slip pocket open at the bottom, but the full length slip pocket behind them opens at the top, closest to the middle of the wallet.
I really do like the wallet and want desperately for it to be great, not just good.
PLEASE MAKE A FEW CHANGES..........THIS WALLET DESERVES TO BE THE BEST IT CAN POSSIBLY BE! ;)
1. I absolutely love the size of the exterior zip pocket, but it definitely needs to be on the other side of the wallet. As it is now, it is upside down when you open the wallet. If you don't have it zipped, obviously everything falls out.
2. Make the exterior zip pocket a double zip pocket with a smaller zip pocket on the existing zip pocket. The wallet is big enough........why not.
3. Add an exterior slip pocket where the current exterior zip pocket is........no need to waste the plain solid front.
4. Make the opening for the ID window at the top instead of the bottom.
5. Change the large slip pocket next to the ID window into a zip pocket or kisslock pocket with the opening at the top (the middle of the wallet, opposite to where it is now)
6. Add an additional full length slip pocket on the lower half of the wallet behind the ID window.

Great if you love big wallets!
I have this wallet in a couple different patterns and I just love it. It has all my must needs - a bill pocket, ID space, good amount of card spaces and a spot for change. It is a little big, but I like that I can keep my checkbook inside or I can just throw my bills and receipts inside and put them back in the right spots later.
