Awesome!
I just purchased the home and away cosmetic bag in tutti frutti and I love it!! It has soo much space to fit all my make up plus other items while traveling.

Manyu Uses...other than makeup
I have this item in Va Va Bloom and I just wanted to encourage you to consider using this for other purposes. I use mine when traveling, on the plane I take my own snacks that fit my dietary needs. I place them in here, also when my husband has day long medical appointments this is a nice bag to carry lunch or one time I put three frozen bottles, two water and one frozen ginger ale. It slowly melted during the day but it was helpful for medical needs. SO please open your mind to other options. I also used it one time for traveling and i put hair rollers and hair items inside. Great item.

Perfect for home and away!
I bought this in the pattern Va Va Bloom and its been a wonderful companion. I currently live in two places and this works perfectly for me. It fits all my make up, lotion, and jewelry and I never have to worry about packing and forgetting something. It fits nicely in my suitcase as well. Highly recommend it!

Great makeup bag!
This is an awesome makeup bag! I was able to fit all my make up and toiletries and still had room. I had looked at it online and thought it would be to small, but when I looked at it in store I found it was actually really roomy. I love that the side pockets have elastic on them, it's great for keeping smaller items organized. The top zipper pocket is also really roomy and great for keeping toothbrush/toothpaste separate from your makeup. Over all it's a great bag and I'm really happy with it.

best cosmetics case
I love this thing. I got it for Christmas, and a few days later, set out for a week-long trip to Baltimore. All of my cosmetics fit easily (except my hair brush, but I use one of those big oval brushes, and I probably could have made it fit if I wanted to.)
The little elasticized pockets kept my small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, cleanser, toner and moisturizer standing upright, preventing leaks. I kept my toothbrush and razor in the zip pocket (one because no nasty soap or deodorant would get on it, and the other because I didn't want to slice my hand off when reaching into the bag...) I fit other things in the bag: a large perfume bottle; several small perfume oil bottles; cotton rounds for applying toner; hairbands; probably something I'm forgetting.
I love that when on a flat surface, the bag stays upright. Lots of cosmetics bags flop over and spill everything, which drives me a little nutty. The handle made it easy to bring the bag to and from the bathroom at shower time (I was staying at a friend's apartment, and there was no room in the bathroom to leave my stuff in there..).
When it was time to go home, repacking was a little dicey. Everything had fit beautifully in my Grand Traveler on the way down, but in that way that always seems to happen on trips, repacking and fitting everything was just not going to work. So I unclipped the strap of the Grand Traveler and pulled it through the handle on the top of the cosmetic, and voila, problem solved. (Note: I was taking a relatively short bus trip from Baltimore to NYC, then an even shorter trip to upstate New York. I would not recommend doing this if you're flying).
All in all, awesome accessory to have, and a must-have for traveling.

Great for sleeping over.
I was staying at my boyfriend's house and I needed something cute to hold my *cough* feminine products *cough* anyway this is very roomy and can easily hold the required essentials and make-up for staying over at someone's house.

The Large Duffel's Side Kick
I went to a Vera Bradley retailer today in search of a small bag that would fit well in the outside end pocket of the large duffel, one that would hold small travel toiletries. Another reviewer mentioned that the large duffel's outside pocket was an ideal place to stash those items for airline security inspection. After trying out the medium cosmetic bag, which was too small, and large cosmetic bag, which was too large, and even the Let's Do Lunch, also too large, nothing seemed just right, until I found the Home and Away Cosmetic. I put two small cosmetic bags inside it, with makeup and other items inside them, and slid it right into the end pocket of the large duffel. Instant winner. The oval shape really works here. The Provencal pattern is my new favorite, and I'm excited to fly with it this spring.

Don't judge a book by its cover.
When I first saw my item, I was so worried! It looked smaller than what I thought and I didn't think I would fit all my make up in there. But this bag proved me wrong...I still have more room for make up. Its cute and pretty big. thanks Vera!!

Home and Away Cosmetic in Va Va Bloom!
I bought this case yesterday in Va Va Bloom, and I just love it! The new oval shape is wonderful and much roomier than the hatbox cosmetic case. The side pockets that have been added make it much more organized too. Fits all kinds of cosmetics, and is very organized. Can be used for home and travel! Great job with this one Vera!
