Beautiful bag but the strap is a problem I purchased this bag in Go Wild and love the look of the bright print with the leather trim. I especially like that it has a solid leather bottom. Like several other reviewers, I also experienced the problem of the strap unlatching. Because I liked the bag so much, I tried attaching the strap in different ways and tried to be conscious of the hooks being positioned properly. Last week I was walking in to work in the pouring rain with my purse, a brief case and an umbrella. The strap became unlatched and my purse fell into a puddle. Needless to say, I am returning the purse. June 3, 2013

Needs improvement! I wanted to see this bag in person so my husband and I drove to retailer that carried this style (1-1/2 hrs away). Purchased this bag in sun valley. The bag will not stay latch--needs to be redesign. Drove back to retailer and exchange with Caroline. Would consider this bag again with redisigned latch. May 8, 2013

Bad strap Just like several others I have experienced the strap coming apart from the purse. It's happened a dozen times in just a few days. The purse itself is beautiful but the strap is horrible. I was going to send it back but I bought some super glue and I used it on the buckles that attach to the purse to see if that ill keep them from springing open. If this doesn't work I am sending the purse back. March 28, 2013

Awesome bag but faulty strap I looove this bag! It's my first VB bag. I got it as a birthday present in Plum Crazy and I'm very proud of it. I absolutely adore the design, the way it opens up easily while wearing it, and that handy magnetic pocket on the outside for my cell phone. The only bad thing is that the long strap doesn't stay on. It just randomly pops off. I'm not sure how or why. I don't have a lot of stuff in it - just my wallet, keys, lipstick, and a ponytail holderl. Perhaps mine is just defective. However that's not enough for me to give it anything less than 5 stars. One suggestion Vera - put a little more leather trim on it! maybe along the top edge of the border at the bottom? Horrible, defective product After just two days of owning this bag, I am returning it; would have done it sooner had it not been a Sunday. The first time I used it, the strap fell off. Just fell off while walking across the street, causing my bag to just fall on the pavement; this happened several times. The clasp on top does not stay shut either and I am not one that crams my bag so full as to make it difficult to shut. The stitching is also crooked as others have stated. By far the WORST Vera product I have ever owned! February 17, 2013

Great size handbag -- one of my favorites!! I love this handbag -- I have three in different patterns -- it is lightweight -- easy to carry and easy to open and get anything out. When it's opened I can see everything in the bag. I do wish it came in more patterns -- I would love to see it in Ribbons. I love the leather accents. I even have room for my mini iPad. It has a great pocket on the outside for my cell phone (which is a must for me). It's just an all around GREAT handbag!!! I'm very picky about my handbags and this is one of my favorites!! The handbag is very well made and the leather looks very good! January 30, 2013

Nice Bag but ... This is a nice size bag holds all of my items with plenty of room left over. The leather handles and trim add a nice look to the bag. However it is not the quality I would expect from Vera Bradley. The bottom of my Suzani print bag is not sewn even with the border and does not match up with the bottom of the bag on one end leaving plain black fabric visible. Since it was gift I plan to keep it but will look all my new items from Vera over very well before I purchase. January 6, 2013

Fabulous handbag I LOVE this new bag and hope it comes out in more patterns. Even fully loaded with all my stuff, it's still lighter to carry than a leather handbag. The frame bag has become one of my favorite handbags to carry. January 4, 2013

Love the design, disappointed in the sewing I was thrilled with Dogwood Barbara when I first got it, but then I noticed the sewing flaws that led me to reluctantly return it to the store. The exterior pocket was sewn on crookedly and the border along the bottom on the bag wasn't straight. And then I noticed the handles weren't sewn correctly: on one side, the handles were in line with the vertical trim and on the other, the handles were 1/4 inch off! I noticed this seems to be a problem only with the Dogwood, but not the other colors. Vera needs to talk to its vendors -- don't accept poor quality!! January 4, 2013
