Double Zip Backpack
Only one flaw
I ordered this backpack online (& on sale!) to use for an extended vacation which would include day trips and sightseeing with my husband. A big selling point was the zipper pocket on the back to keep wallet and valuables secure. The pack worked really well. Valuables were put in the back pocket. Unlike many VB backpacks, the side pockets are big enough for a water bottle. We also used them for umbrella & cell phone. The main compartment held lightweight jackets, an ipad mini, sandwiches/snacks and purchases. The front compartment was good for things we wanted to get quickly like sunglasses and lip gloss. My ONLY complaint is that the straps are uncomfortable for me--5'1" tall. The buckles on the straps hit right at my armpits. A lower buckle placement would have rated this a 5 star winner.

This is my first backpack purchase and I am so pleased! I am surprised how much this bag holds.. LOVE the double zip.. I think this bag is retired though which is disappointing.. bring it back! I use it for school..
Plan to buy the Campus Backpack next and use for travel..

I absolutely love this backpack. I already own a very large backpack that is perfect for traveling and carrying a lot of stuff but I was looking for a VB backpack that I could use for school interchangeably with my Vera. This backpack is so perfect, it fits so much stuff. As a junior in high school, this backpack fits all the things I need for school. For this school year I plan on bringing two one subject notebooks, a multi subject notebook, a large planner and two multi pocket folders. This backpack fits all of this including my wallet, my phone, my keys, a windbreaker, a waterbottle, iPod and headphones, graphing calculator and pencil pouch. The best thing is it doesn't look too bulky! There are two side waterbottle pockets, the front pocket, the main pocket, an inner pocket and a pocket in the back. It is so functional and cute! I would recommend this backpack to almost anyone! (Not everyone because there are a few students I know who carry a lot of things in their backpacks, including huge binders and this one might not work for them.)
