Cute, and zip pocket holds my large smartphone I don't always like to carry a regular purse when running errands or eating out, but most of the wristlets and wallets aren't big enough to hold my larger smartphone. I bought the Wristlet today and was so pleased that my phone fits inside the inner zip pocket so it won't get scratched. The Wristlet has four card slots in the main compartment, but my zip ID with more cards and cash fits, along with my keyring and lip gloss. It's not as compact as some wristlets, but so worth it to hold my phone and a few essentials. It's very cute in Indigo Pop with the small design trim on both sides, and the strap with a clip on one end. The gusset lets it expand to hold a little more. It's still small enough to be used inside a large purse or tote to hold cosmetics or whatever, but I'll carry it on its own. My all-time favorite wristlet has been the All-in-One, but the phone pocket isn't large enough to hold many smartphones. Until it's tweaked, the Wristlet will be its substitute, and also has space for my keys inside. Nice alternative to my tiny crossbody purses. October 6, 2012
Sleek, Lightweight Function! I purchased the classic Vera wristlet a few years ago, but I was delighted and thrilled with the new updates! Bought the Ribbons print today, and I love the new gusset, card slots and secure zipper wall compartment. Looks just like the old version, but better! I know I will get tons of use out of this little bag, which sleekly totes my Smart Phone, Chap Stick, cash, comb and keys. Looking forward to my next new pattern! June 8, 2013
Gusseted Interior Makes the Length Narrower I have had this wristlet in Very Berry Paisley for over a year found it to be pretty handy. I was very excited about the updated features, especially the interior zipper and slip pockets as well as the larger dimensions. I mainly used the wristlet as a wallet/phone holder on an extended summer trip last year. It was great carried inside my Vera tote. I used the Vera tote as my carry on for the plane and the wristlet as my purse. The wristlet easily held my iPhone 4 with bumper case in the main area along with lipgloss, medicine, hair ties, keys, and a few other small necessities. I used the four slip pockets for my ID card, debit card, insurance card, and library card. I used the zipper pocket for my cash money, coins, receipts, and coupons. I do wish the cash would have been able to fit in the zipper area without being folded because the folded cash became a little bulky at times, but it was still bearable. I have a love hate relationship with the gusseted interior. I love that the wristlet is able to hold more when needed and still keep a somewhat slim profile. The hate part is because of what the gussets do to the deminisions of the interior area. The gusseted sides are too divided in my opinion. If you have something that is the same size as the wristlet interior area, you have to place it in one of the gusseted sides. If it is wider that the gusseted side, It won't fit in the middle because that length is narrowed. It may sound a little confusing, but if you look at the side view of the wristlet, you should be able to see what I am talking about. Overall, I really enjoyed the added features and the ability to do double duty as a wallet, but would have preferred the gusseted interior sides to be less divided and allow a more versatile main area. If you have a Samsung Galaxy... this is your smartphone wristlet. I was worried that I wouldn't find a Vera to hold my new phone with otterbox, I previously used a coin and key to carry my non-smartphone and keys. If you own a larger smartphone, like the Galaxy, you are safe with this wristlet or the pushlock one (I tried them both#. Got it in Sun Valley #lovely) and it holds my phone, ID, credit/insurance cards and I clip my keys on the lobster clasp. Vera saves the day, again. :) May 15, 2013
Perfect for essentials I have just recently fallen in love with Vera, and my very first Vera bag was a large hobo. It's GREAT for all the stuff I need to carry all over the place with me b/c of my very busy schedule that means I'm not home all that much. However, loaded down, it's a beast - it's just more than I want to carry when I'm only running quick errands. It also doesn't fit comfortably between the front two captains chairs in my vehicle, so when DH is in the car, it gets crowded. I quickly decided I needed something that was small enough to fit IN my large hobo and carry just my bare essentials for grab-and-go situations. Enter: the wristlet. I did a bunch of research before heading to my local Vera store, and I narrowed it down to either the wristlet or the pushlock wristlet. Once I got there, I decided the pushlock was just a wee bit too big. Could I fit it in the hobo? Yes. Did it make my hobo feel crowded? Yes. The regular wristlet, however, was perfect. It doesn't fit MUCH, but it fits just enough for things like running into the grocery store for a couple last minute ingredients or taking my DH to the bus stop early in the morning: my ID, ATM card, lip balm, allergy eye drops, $20, and cell phone. I use an HTC Evo which is BIG, and it fits well with room to spare. One very nice extra touch is the expandable bottom of this wristlet - it compacts down nicely, but if you need to throw a few extra things in, it will expand to fit. If you have a large set of keys, however, do not expect them to fit in here. But I've got a great Vera solution for that, too: I also bought a cute Vera lanyard when I bought my hobo, and it works perfectly, b/c I don't HAVE to put my keys in my purse, even if I don't have pockets. I can just sling the lanyard over my shoulder or around my neck and they're secure, but my hands are still free. So with the lanyard and my wristlet, I'm good to go for quick errands, and they both fit nicely in my large hobo for long days. March 23, 2013
Yes, please! I love this wristlet! I own it in the Happy Snails pattern and it's so adorable! I don't really use it in it's "wristlet' form, but rather as my wallet itself inside my purse. I stick all my credit cards/ID in the little pockets inside and it's perfect! Great size and doesn't take up too much room in my purse. Easy to throw your cash, change and receipts into when your trying to checkout! I have used this by itself before and it's very spacey! Fits my phone, money, lip gloss and mints! This is definitely my favorite of all the other wallet styles I've seen! If you're looking for a great wristlet, you've found it! March 22, 2013
I Don't Know... I love this wristlet!!! I can fit all of my essentials, and still carry an extra pencil or two. But, the one problem I have is I carry this wristlet purse-style because I am afraid of the strap breaking. Thus, my reason for the four star rating. I had gotten this for Christmas and the strap is already looking weak. If they made it stronger and thicker I would be much happier. March 18, 2013
Goes any where!!! I have this wristlet in both Indigo Pop and Doodle Daisy. Love it so much, that I'll be picking it up in Vera Vera black to go with my older Vera Bradley pattern. I use this as my wallet because I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and as someone else said, this is the only wristlet that will hold a larger smartphone. I use the Mailbag as my everyday purse and the wristlet fits perfectly. I also just returned from a conference where I didn't want to carry my purse with me, so I put my phone in my wristlet and put the wristlet in my Vera tote. It worked fabulously!!!! Love my Vera Bradley!!! March 17, 2013
Wristlet I loved this wristlet when I got it the only problem was if I put my wallet in it it would be all bumpy over all it was great March 1, 2013
Compact Yet Roomy Love this wristlet as it is so versatile. It can be carried as a wristlet or if you move one side of the strap to hook onto the ring on the other side, it can be carried like a mini purse. It is compact yet roomy with the addition of a practically concealed gusset. Inside there's a zip compartment as well as slots to hold your credit cards. One word of advice: test the inner credit card slots with an actual card as I had gotten 2 where the slots on the right side were cut a tad too short and wouldn't fit placement of my cards. I'll have to go back to the store to exchange or return them now. Thus the reason for my "4" rating instead of "5". February 16, 2013
