Only good for light loads
I had this backpack for about a year when a strap broke. I got it fixed and had it for about one more year when the fabric started to wear on the straps and on the lower back of the bag. However, it is super cute and comfortable.

Great for school!
I have had this bag for 2 years and it is just now starting to show some wear at the bottom, but it's always heavy! Hold my 13" inch MacBook Pro and room for books and notepads! I have it in the Summer Cottage and I love that color! Plan on buying my next one in the Flower Shower! I love everything from VB!

Great commuter backpack
My HP Envy Ultrabook (14in.) fits very nicely in the laptop compartment. I can also slide my Microsoft Surface with the Touch Cover next to my laptop in the laptop compartment. The padding is pretty good. In the main compartment I can put my cords in the slip pockets or in the bottom. I also have room for sweater, medium cosmetic bag, Turlock wallet and a small cosmetic bag (holds flash drives, headphones, mouse). In the front zipper pocket I have a small tissue pack, gum and snack bars. I can put my umbrella in one of the side pockets. The bag is still lightweight when packed with these items and the shoulder straps are very comfortable. I love the Sun Valley print and I highly recommend this bag. Great style and design.

Just what I wanted!
I wanted a laptop backpack that fit my 15" MacBookPro, had room for my plugs and cords as well as for my Kindle and other misc. stuff. This bag has room for all that and then some. It is more than roomy enough for the 15" laptop, slides right in. And it is so pretty (I got the daisy pattern). I look forward to using this bag throughout the year, but especially come summer time when I need the portability and protection the most.

Great for an on-the-go team Mom!
I tried SO many totes and couldn't find the right one until this backpack! The computer part is quite nice with a cushion and tabby Velcro closure. I put my magazines in this part. My crochet goes in the bigger part. My nook fits in the zip around pocket in the front, along with keys and money. My thermos fits in one side pocket and my umbrella fits in the other side pocket. I did sew the sleeve closed that is supposed to go over your rolling luggage handle so I can stash a book or slip my phone in it. I throw this backpack on and have my other hands free for toting a cooler and chairs. LOVE IT!

ABSOLUTELY perfect for whatever you need!!
It's great for long car trips, school, spending the night off. If your going to a theme park like Wild Adventures or Universal Studios, it is absolutely positively perfect. I have had mine for 2 or 3 years and it STILL looks like I bought it yesterday. Of course, you have to wash and take care of it but it's perfect!!!!

I liked the old version better
The older version of this backpack was better. The section for your laptop was completely separate and padded and so roomy that you could fit folders or books or even magazines in it as well. The large part of the backpack could fit things that you didn't want to interfere with your laptop and the front section was perfect for organizing. I wish they would bring this version back - as I would love it in some of the newer fabrics!

I really liked this bag but it defiantly could use some upgrades. First off, the laptop protector isn't covering the entire pouch. It is just a a small area that is sewn in. This does not protect a thicker laptop. Mine does not fit. I really like the idea but you need to expand so it fits something other than a Macbook. Second, it needs a little bit of water proofing. Otherwise, its wonderful!

This backpack is cute and is good for school/college. Though there are two things I need to point out: First off, this is not a huge bag, you are not going to fit your whole life in it. It is decent sized though; I can fit my laptop, 3 smallish textbooks, my planner, my charging cord and pencil bag comfortably. So if you are a commuter student or need a bag for travel, this may not be the bag for you. Secondly, if you have broad shoulders like I do, you might have issues in the winter when you are wearing a coat. The straps are ok without a winter coat but when I am wearing one, it feels a little tighter than I would like and I have the straps as long as they go. Its not a big a deal though but they don't dig into my shoulders or anything. These are just two things you might want to consider before purchase because like most things, this isn't a one size fits all kind of backpack. It won't work for some and will be great others. I love mine, it is fitting all of my needs right now as a college student and it is so pretty, I have it in English Rose and the pictures do not do it justice. Its one of those patterns that look better in person than online. Happy shopping!

Great for College
I have two of these backpacks and I love them. I have a 15.6 inch laptop, it fits perfectly into the laptop pocket. Also if I decide not to bring my laptop my iPad fits and it is kept safe. I am an English major so I carry a lot of books around with me all the time. Normally I can fit four 300-400 page books, two vera notebooks, a medium vera cosmetic that is full, my laptop or iPad and a bunch of other little things. Now the one thing that I have had trouble with is that the traps did begin to rip. But I brought it to the store and it was easily fixed. Now I just keep the straps at a better length so there is no tug. I love this backpack!
