The Best Purse VB Has
I've used Saddle Up, On The Go, and Clare but I always had spray, headache medicine, and my VB wristlet in my bag, along with a bunch of other stuff, and nothing seemed to fit. When this bag got released, I wasn't planning on getting it but when I saw it I bought it on the first day it came out. It is the perfect size for everything I need, and I love the inside and outside pockets, along with the zip closure so that everything stays in the bag while I'm on the go. I absolutely love it, and I am soo happy with this bag. The strap is the perfect length to throw over my shoulder, and the bag isn't too big or too small. It's the Goldilocks of bags and I love it.

I like this bag because it looks nice on my shoulder and as a cross body. The two pockets in front are deep. I do wish there was a zip pocket inside the purse. I bought it in Citron and I think it is very pretty but sporty.

Love this bag
I just bought this and unfortunately it did not arrive in time for my trip. But it will be perfect for my next trip. I have always liked and carried the saddle bag. they are not carrying this bag anymore so I was looking for a new cross body style. This is so much better. I love that the pockets are outside with no flap to lift. I love the outside zipper pocket. I put my kindle in there. the I pad fits much bettering this bag because it is taller that the saddle. I like another reviewer wish there were 6 inside pockets. It is much easier to find stuff in the smaller pockets. Love the colors in the venetian Paisley. It will go well with jeans and all my new green clothes for my May trip to Paris.

I absolutely love this bag. I had been using the clare, but after a while I needed more room. This bag came at the right time. First off, the outer pockets are amazing. I slide my phone in there and it doesn't fall out. You can't even tell its in there. I also slide my work name tag in the other pocket which is nice. Inside, there are two big pockets. Those pickets fit a lot more than the clare did. I put gum, a note pad, lip gloss, tic tacs, and pens, and I still have room. The bag is pretty roomy. I took all of my stuff out of the clare and put it in the bag and I didn't even fill it up completely. Its perfect. I also like how the bottom of the bag expands when you use it. It seems to stand up nicely as well. Overall, I love this bag. I bought one in Clementine, Blue Bayou, and Jazzy blooms. I would buy more!

My new favorite VB bag
I bought this bag in Citron. I love the pattern! I needed a crossbody bag and I had tried the little hipster which was just too small and I've tried the mailbag which was too skinny and things would fall to the bottom and I'd have a difficult time fishing them out. This one in just right. The two slip pockets on the front are perfect: keys in one and my iPhone in an Otterbox Defender case in the other. The back zip compartment is very roomy with the zip going all the way across. This is where I keep lip glosses, a compact, a small bottle of lotion, and hand sanitizer and there's still room for more! Inside there are two large slip pockets where I keep pens, reading glasses, gum, earbuds, and a small note pad. I do slightly miss an inside zip compartment. The bottom of the bag is wider, but not too wide. I can easily get to my wallet, inhaler, and other items that I didn't put in pockets. Strap is very comfortable, too. I just love it!

I got this in Canterberry Magenta. I really love this bag, I've been waiting a long time for this! What I love is:
-Zipper top (so things don't fall out + no worries of theft)
-2 large outside pockets. One for cell, one for VB sunglasses
-Outside zipper pocket - fits my VB checkbook, papers/receipts great
-Inside is large enough to fit my VB Sleek & Chic Wallet, full VB small cosmetic bag, plus room for my Kindle, a water bottle, etc.
-Happy that it has inside pockets (not enough though)
Not happy with:
-Only 2 inside pockets, one side. Why not pockets on both sides?
-I wish the 2 pockets were split into 3 pockets. The 2 are too large, so I'm still digging in them for pens/pencils, chapstick and such. I really think it should have 3 pockets lining both insides of the bag for maximum storage.
WONDERFUL bag. I have MANY VB bags, several are crossbody, and this is the best yet.

Perfect upgrade if you love the Hipster!
I absolutely love the looks of this bag! I was impressed that the two pockets on the front are decieving because they're completely seperate but you don't know that until you check it out. Love the back zipper on it and how wide it opens on the inside. If you LOVE the Hipster you are sure to love this bag as well! It is a tad bigger so you'll be able to fit more in it, but it's still crossbody if you love that feel :o)
I love the new style Vera! Keep up the good work! I bought this bag in the beautiful pattern, Clementine <3

A Roomy Crossbody for Moms and Non-Moms
As I suspected, and think many others did as well, this bag is the "non-mom" version of the Mom's Day Out bag, which for those of you not familiar with it is basically a mini-diaper bag disguised as a purse. I don't want to turn this into a review of the Mom's Day Out, but it's hard not to use it as a basis for comparison because it is one of my favorite Vera bags. But here goes.
Let me start by talking about the bag on its own and then I'll compare it to the Mom's Day Out for anyone who is interested. I will call the style of it modern and functional rather than overtly stylish and trendy. The bag is very roomy without looking unwieldy - I prefer large crossbody bags so that I can carry a lot and still keep my hands free, and this is probably as large as I would want to go in a purse. You could definitely fit a full-sized iPad into it with a case and would not have to struggle to zip it up. It has a structured bottom (the bottom is reinforced with something like cardboard to make it a little more solid than the fabric on its own) which adds to space you have available to fill. To give you an idea of my normal purse load, I currently carry a Vera coin purse filled with cards, an In a Snap, a hard sunglasses case, a pill bottle, keys, two iPhones, a powder compact, and a lipgloss or two, and it all fits nicely with room to spare. The zipper is right on top, so you don't lose any space to a recessed zipper.
As for organization, the Carryall Crossbody doesn't have a ton of pockets, just the standards: a zip pocket in the back, two slip pockets in the front, and two slip pockets on the inside (on the same side as the slip pockets on the outside). I don't mind because no matter what my best purse organizational intentions are in any bag, everything just ends up floating in the large section anyway!
Here is where I have to compare the bag to the Mom's Day Out to make one criticism, the criticism that caused me to take one star off my rating. Though I like this bag very much and will use it a lot since it fits a lot more than something like the Hipster, its fatal flaw is its strap. The strap is very flimsy. and if your bag is the least bit heavy, the material bunches up in the metal hardware that attaches the strap to the bag and looks pretty sad. I tried to compare the strap to other crossbodies I have (Hipster, the Mailbag, Little Hipster, Lizzy), and found it to be among the flimsiest of those bags, closer to being as sturdy as the very small Little Hipster rather than the reinforced, tough strap of the Mom's Day Out. Honestly, for the size of this bag and the potential for it to have sort of a heavy load when fully packed, this strap might not be enough in the long-term. Obviously you aren't going to be carrying a brick in it, but if you are a mom like me, you know how a lot of things end up being thrown in your bag, from small parcels at the mall to food or toys for your kids when you run out, and that weight adds up. With how much I love the Mom's Day Out and its sturdy strap, this was a disappointment.
As for the other differences with the Mom's Day Out, obviously the big thing is this does not have the plastic lining of the MDO. It is also a bit smaller height-wise than the MDO, and the pockets on the outside are not gusseted, which is nice on the MDO for carrying something like a bottle but not really needed on a handbag. Apart from these items, these two really are the same bag, which is why I find myself loving this in spite of its shortcomings.
Overall, if you don't load up your bag with as much as you can carry like I do, the strap issue probably won't bother you, so I do recommend this bag. It is a nice size without being too large for a purse, and I think the style showcases the new Spring 2014 patterns well - I didn't think I would like Citron until I saw it in person on this bag, for instance. And if you liked the Mom's Day Out but wish there were an un-mommified version of it, here it is!
