Great Bag For Those Who Like to Carry It All I do not always write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for this product because of how wonderful it is. First of all, this is a backpack style large purse, not a bookbag for those who carry binders and books. I can fit my Vera wallet, medium cosmetic bag, a good sized book, Bible, Surface or iPad tablets, plus tissues, keys, gum, pens and more and wear it comfortably both as a backpack as well as a tote. I always recommend to check dimensions for those who complained about not being able to use for school. Also, the tote handle can be placed down when wearing as a backpack so that you can not be grabbed from behind if you happen to be traveling. I am thankful that this company is willing to listen to its customers and continue to come out with usable quality bags for Vera addicts such as myself. Thank you for a job well done!!! July 23, 2013
Very Vera Versatile I have been using this backpack tote for over a month now and it has held up very well. I bought it in Lola which can be worn with many different colors of clothing. The top handle is comfortable on my shoulder and does not slip off when I use the bag as a purse. When used as a backpack the straps are also comfortable as well as adjustable. I have also used the bag as a crossbody by clipping the backpack straps together to make a longer strap. The various ways that the bag can be worn makes it a favorite. I can shop hands free, carry my bag and my daughter's backpack when I pick her up after school and still hold both of my children's hands when crossing the street. The bag is not as roomy as my Double Zip VB backpack so it is not something I can recommend for students carrying big books or binders. It does fit my Nook reader with cover, my Kiss n' Snap VB wallet, a small umbrella and several other small items, (phone, Kleenex pouch, hand sanitizer, etc.). There is slightly less room if you use the drawstring so keep that in mind. The space inside is slightly less than a Vera tote. It is more of a medium sized bag. Inside it has two small rectangular slip pockets that my iPhone 4 fits into. It also has a zippered pocket that might fit a small wallet. Underneath the flap are two small, rectangular shaped slip pockets similar to the ones on the inside. There is one more larger zippered pocket that rests against you when you wear the bag as a purse/backpack. All of these pockets keep my things organized as well as help me find things quickly with one hand when I need them. I considered the bag a bit pricey but got it with a discount and find that after using it for a month I would have paid the full price. Keep in mind that it is more of a casual bag but that fits my style just fine. Lastly, I like the look of the bag because it is more stylish than a traditional backpack. Thank you Vera! Great for one adult in Disney World I took this bag on my first ever trip to Disney World and it was great! I went with a group of adults--no kids-- and it was the perfect size to carry what one adult would need for a day in the parks. In the main compartment I fit a pair of flip flops (for water rides), my small camera case, a light sweater and an autograph book. I left my wristlet and cell phone in the zipper pocket on the outside, to keep them secure against my body. In the two pockets under the flap I carried a poncho and small necessities like protein bars, aspirin and sunscreen. I easily fit everything I needed for the entire day, with room for some souvenirs. I also loved that I could change how I carried it--as a tote bag, a backpack or if I connected the backpack straps together as a crossbody. One note: when I carried it as a crossbody it was hard to adjust the straps so that the metal clips didn't dig into my shoulder. I mainly carried it as a backpack or a tote. May 24, 2014
