Great For Looking Stylish and Unique
IF you want to stand out get this! I love it and use it all of the time. It's perfect for my tiny laptop, my 1inch binder, planner, and a thin textbook. I can also keep supplies (pens, pencils, calculator, cellphone) in the bag too. I do warn, it gets heavy but if you're a light worker you'll look stylish and professional. Bought mine in the Plum Petals.

my bag broke today! boo hoo!
I purchased this last sept. in rosy posie. (My sister gave me my first vera bradley purse for my birthday in July) I lLOVE ROSY POSIE PATTERN!
So I have purchased everything in the pattern. I have been using this bag everyday to go back and forth to school.... the students love it too and I know a few mothers have purchased vera bradley too.
BUT, today, the clasp got stuck and then broke! I can't secure my bag? SO, does Vera Bradley guarantee their bags? Can I get another one? Has anyone been able to get the clasp fixed? I am so unhappy now.... beautiful bag. (I would never have spent this much money on my salary on a bag) and now I can't close it! Hopefully Monday morning I will call Vera Bradley and get information about how to get it fixed or replaced.

Has held up great with daily use!
I purchased this about 6 months ago to replace a worn out basic black briefcase. I use this every day to carry my laptop, charger, ipad, and a few narrow folders to work and have been very surprised at how well it's held up. I tend to use the handle more than the shoulder strap, so was a little concerned about that, as the bag does get heavy at times with everything in it, but after 6 months of use, it still looks brand new. I've had no trouble with the clasp wearing out as others have mentioned. I added a small VB brush and pencil case to carry pens, flash drive, and other little things. I would like a pocket on the end for a water bottle ... would move this to perfect! Remember that a briefcase has a different purpose than a backpack ... those that say it's not big enough for schoolbooks and binders are right, as that's not what it's designed for! I love being able to carry a bag that's both pretty and practical to work, and get many compliments from co-workers!

Clasp wears easily
Last Christmas I received this attache, but shortly I had it replaced because the clasp screws went loose and it didn't snap in place anymore. The next attache lasted for maybe a few more months then did the same. It is such a nice bag, but it's unfortunate the clasp doesn't have a strong design.

Great for school, but it is small. :(
I LOVE my attache!! It is a beautiful bag and I have gotten so many compliments on it. However, it is quite small. My binder, which is a 1 1/2" takes up the entire bag. I have hardly any room left for anything else in the bag when its in there. My 14" laptop fits perfectly inside, but it takes up the entire bag! Currently, I am using it for 2 college books, and one spiral notebook for 2 of my classes & its a perfect size for that!! Other than it being on the small size, I LOVE this bag! I LOVE all of the extra pockets & I LOVE the looks of the bag! Well worth the money if you don't have a lot to carry, but want a nice bag! :)

Great for Work!
I purchased this bag last winter for work. I was in need of a new briefcase and was so excited to find one to match my Vera Bradley pocketbook. I am still using it now and its perfect. I can fit so much in it. I put my personal bills, work files, ipod, tablet, business banking & anything else I need for day to day. It also has a nice thick shoulder strap. I would recommend it to any woman that wants to get away from the "old" black leather briefcase!

WAY TOO SMALL!!!!!
first of alll i LOVE vera bradley but.......i got this bag for school last year and it was WAY too small! i had three textbooks and a binder and i would go home carrying half my stuff!!! only two books fit in it its only 4 inches way too small!!! also it is shaped like a cardboard box and everyone kept asking me why it was a box!!! i would definately not recomend this bag to any person.....sorry vera bradley this bag is just not good!!!!

Attache in Suzani (Work and Laptop Bag)
I originally bought the Vera Bradley Attaché in a different pattern for schoolwork, but I found it losing its natural sturdy shape overtime as I stretched it with my heavy load of books and it grew dirty with school use (in short, I ridded of it.) Last Christmas, however, I received a new Vera Attaché in Suzani, and now I use it for work documents and as a laptop/electronics case for when I am on the go. It is perfect for this use, just not school use. Warning: this bag does not hold up well with being stuffed to the brim or holding a lot of weight. I made the mistake of overpacking it with electronic devices and CDs, etc. on vacation and now there is a small tear in the bottom of the attaché that I am having repaired. Despite of the negatives I have said, I still do truly love my attaché, especially in Suzani. A very stylish work/laptop bag to carry into a job interview! I received tons of compliments. Bottom line: if you get this bag, use it for light paper work and a laptop; don't fill it to the point of bursting (my mistake) and you will love this Vera bag. (I now use the Campus Backpack for my school load; smart decision!)

Great stylish look, but to small for school!
-I got the Attache for this school year. When it came in the mail it was a love at first sight, no lie, until I put my binder in it. That was all it could hold and my binder wasn't even very big! I also put my E-reader in it, but there was no room for a laptop or notebooks, or even a pencil case. It was a great bag, but I wouldn't recommend it for school.
-Furthermore, this bag did have many features including: a snap-lock open, two pockets in the front, a large pocket on the back, a zipper pocket inside the large interior, an adjustable shoulder strap, and a top handle. I like having more than one option to hold the bag. This makes it easy to carry around. The Attache is a great way to have some style, without your purse, or "the backpack look". I would totally recommend this, but not for school!

Tuly inspired product.
I love this bag. I have purchased 3 thus far. Please note: It is not meant to replace a backpack for heavier items. I am a professor, so I can fit about 50 15-page papers, a small book, and an Ipad with some wiggle room. The additional pockets all over are ideal for keys, wallet, eyewear, pens, etc. Overall, this bag was perfect for my needs, as it has truly made my life a breeze . Plus, it is very comfortable on my shoulders and not bulky for morning commute or other travel. On a side note, I have received several compliments on it - both for its versatility as well as its appearance (suzani, deco daisy, ellie blue). Love it VB. Truly an inspired product.
