Chunky Armed People Rejoice!
To my people with chunky or fluffy upper arms - THIS IS THE BAG FOR YOU! I have an upper arm that is fluffy and some Vera bags (such as the tote), don't fit on my arm well. The buckle tote is wonderful! I was able to loosen the strap to make it fit better on my arm. The amount of stuff that it fits is amazing! It is my go to bag for just about anything. I use it for travel, and for those last minute file folder grabs from work. It is stylish, and functional. Definitely among my most favorite Vera purchases and I purchased it in Lola and Canterberry Magenta. I just might pick up another color!

I just bought this bag last night and I absolutely love it! I couldn't decide what color to get it in at first, but decided on Blue Bayou and it's so pretty. The blue is really bright in person. I'm going to use this for school and it's the perfect size for my books and spirals.

My first tote!
This is my first tote and what a wonderful first tote it is! It holds quite a bit of things and I plan to use it for graduate school! What I love is it has a zipper so if I want to zip it up and keep my stuff safe, I can! What I love most about it is the stylish leather straps and the only bad thing about this bag is choosing a color! They all look wonderful and it was hard choosing but I would defintely buy another!

Absolutely love it!
I saw this bag in La Neon Rose and fell in love with it. I love everything about it. I use mine for graduate school. It has a very classy look, while being very useful. It holds my notebooks, text book, and any papers I have, while the pockets hold highlighters, pencils, pens, erasers, lotion, chapstick and anything else I need to carry with me. The best part is it holds a lot without feeling super heavy. When it rains, I zip the tote up and my things stay dry. I absolutely love this tote and would by it all over again.

A lovely big bag for any occasion!
I am a huge lover of small bags, when I'm not in school. However, during the school year when I'm always running around like a crazy person I love having one big bag to throw my school stuff, work stuff, gym stuff, etc in one place and have everything i need for whatever situation arises. I use this as well as my Vera Bradley Laptop Backpack. On light days I use it as a backpack. I LOVE the outside pocket! fits my cell phone, wallet, and keys PERFECTLY for easy access. This is a beautiful go to bag for anyone who always on the go. Love this tote in Olivia Green! Will probably be my favorite forever!

The BuckleTote - A valuable travel companion.
I recently purchased the new Buckle Tote in Bittersweet and it is a beautiful fabric and pattern. Sadly, the colors don't show as vibrant on your website as they are in person.
But I love this bag and the roominess it provides. Can't wait for you to include the matching accessories in Bittersweet IE: wallets, cosmetics, etc.. How soon will those be available in-store Vera Bradley?
We recently returned from a trip to South Dakota visiting the sites there, and my Buckle Bag traveled with me. I had purchased the same bag in Heather Berry for our oldest granddaughter who was with us on the trip. She brought her Buckle Bag along and enjoyed the roominess as did I. She also loves the Heather Berry - it is her favorite.

Beautiful new Buckle Tote
This new tote is a great size! It has a very finished and professional look to it. The faux leather trim is perfect, and the break-away zipper is so useful! Finally, a great replacement for my Go-Round Tote!!

Love the Soft Leather Handles
I just bought this tote in the Bittersweet pattern. The red, yellow, brown combination is perfect for the fall. I especially love the soft faux leather strap, which is not hard nor heavy on the shoulders. The bag is very roomy and is slightly bigger than the Vera Bradley Tote. It also has two pockets and a zippier pocket in the interior of the bag and a pocket on the outside that is great for my iPhone for quick access. The tote also has a zipper on top so that I have the option to keep the bag closed or open. In addition, there are metal studs and a faux leather base to give the bottom of the bag some structure. I only wish that the metal hardware had "Vera Bradely' on them. I am a student teacher and this is a great bag to keep my mac air laptop and folder for student papers. Thanks Vera for another awesome functional tote!

Some details about this stylish bag
I just got this tote last night but I wanted to write a review to provide some information the site is lacking. I would have bought it online but went to the store because I wanted to know if there were pockets inside, was that a breakaway zipper I was seeing, etc. I thought others might be interested in the same details.
This tote is a bit larger than the classic tote – about an inch and a half taller and a half-inch wider. It seems very sturdy because the trim sort of allows it to stand on its own. It also has a reinforced bottom – it feels like there is cardboard in there but it is sewn in and not removable so this is a consideration if you like to be able to throw your bags in the washing machine – covered by the faux leather bottom and there are four little metal feet it sits on. I got it in La Neon Rose and the black trim is a great complement to the black in the pattern. (I also expected the roses to be yellow based on what I saw on my monitor but they are more of a bright green in person, in case that’s helpful for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.)
It has a pretty deep slip pocket on the outside that I’d say is about 5x5 inches. I can fit my iPhone 4S in its VB snap-on case into it sideways and I could stack two of them in there. I would feel very secure having my phone in that pocket. It also would be great for stashing your keys. The pocket is trimmed at the top with the same faux leather as the sides. There is, indeed, a breakaway zipper. I know from reading reviews that some of you like that and some of you don’t; I’d rather have a zipper than none at all or a toggle closure, so I’m happy about it. The straps seemed pretty comfortable. I can never tell with just tissue paper in there so I put my purse inside of it for some weight and carried it around the store for a while. The straps are adjustable, so if you find it’s a bit short for you or would be tighter than you like when you’re wearing a heavy coat, you can move the buckle to the last of the three holes. Likewise, if you are smaller, you can make them a bit shorter.
Inside, there are two slip pockets on one side – they are not quilted, just the lining fabric – that are large enough to fit my iPhone (I think I’d be concerned it would slide out, though) and the pockets are wide enough to accommodate even some of the larger phones or a phone in an Otterbox case. On the other side is a zippered pocket that I would estimate measures about 6 inches deep and 8 inches wide. To give you an idea, I could fit my iPad Mini in there with probably an inch of depth to spare.
I can’t comment on how well the straps or the faux leather will wear at this point, but I can come back and review it after some use. In the mean time, I hope this gives you some better information about what to expect as far as the bag’s details go.
