What happened to the lid ?
I LOVE my new mug in Lilli Bell but was disappointed to see the lid is no longer sold with the mugs. WHY ??? The lids are what made the mugs special, without them they become another over priced mug. They keep your tea hot with the tea is seeping. Then I used them as a coaster. PLEASE Vera bring back the lid. Other than missing the lid I am very happy with this mug.

Lilli Bell is beautiful
I know there's a lot of brouhaha about the missing lid on this newest edition of the VB mug but I love mine. Granted, I'm not a collector and never got to experience the lid but it's still a fully-functioning and beautiful mug. The only thing that made me hesitate a bit was the size. It is a small mug, maybe 6 to 8 oz maximum which means I'll just have to pour myself another cup in the morning. The stock photo of Lilli Bell does not do the pattern justice. It's spectacular in person and I don't even like pink.

Not worth the price without the lid.
I loved these mugs because of the lid (and VB pattern of course!), but now the lid is gone, so I will not be collecting any more of these mugs. I loved the lid because I drink tea, and the lid helped the tea bag to steep ... and when I do drink coffee, I like to put the lid on so that the coffee stays warmer longer. Can't believe the lid is gone, and the mug is still the same price ... just not worth it!

LOGGED ON TO BUY ANOTHER ONE BUT WHERES THE LID???
This mug is the cutest mug ever. Its so cute that it makes me look forward to relaxing with a nice cup of tea. The lid/coaster is KEY as it keeps my tea warm. Without the lid it is an over priced mug. BRING BACK THE LID!

A touch of class!
Ladies....I understand that you want Vera with a top, but Topless Vera has charm too!
I bought the Ribbons mug, one of the last with a porcelain top, and if it's like the LAST coffee cup I bought with a top (NOT a Vera), it got broken within two uses. So I'm verrrry careful with it.
I love Vera's colorful designs. They are like comfort food without the calories.
As soon as the Midnight Blue mug goes on sale...I will add it to my collection....and use the Ribbons mug's top.

Very disappointed in the new mugs.
Sure wish I had read the reviews before I bought this mug. It's the last one I will buy. The lid is what made them so special. Without them it's like everyone else is saying. They are just over priced coffee mugs. I have several of them in my favorite patterns. Some changes are not for the good.

Where's the lid?
I'm SO disappointed to see these mugs now come without a lid. Truly, it was the main reason to get it. Yes, the patterns are cute, but the lid makes it that much more special. Plus, the lid is actually FUNCTIONAL and not just for looks. Without it, it's just an overpriced mug.

Disappointed
I bought this mug because I thought the plum crazy pattern was beautiful. I realize that it no longer had the lid, which was extremely disappointing, but I bought it anyway. Now, the box has also changed. Before, the box could double as a functional storage item, now it's a square printed box with the mug picture on it and the print on the other sides that I can't really reuse because the cardboard lid folds up (unless I want to go through the trouble of cutting it off!). Grrrrr. While the quality of the mug is the same as the previous design, I much prefer the mug with the lid and the larger box that I can reuse!!

What were you thinking?!?!?!?!
Vera Bradley mugs were special because of the lid, which could double as a coaster. I have a collection of one of every covered lid mug Vera Bradley ever made. It's fun to entertain & have everyone drinking from a different pattern mug. I couldn't wait for my new 2013 mugs to arrive. However, sadly, unless the covered lid mugs return, I will never buy another Vera Bradley mug. SO VERY disappointed with the 2013 mug/product change.

Just an overpriced mug, want the lid back!!
This is just a regular old coffee mug. Nothing special or fancy. It's a dollar cheaper than the old style mug with the lid which doubles as a coaster. Without the lid, your drink cools faster and you'll end up with a ring on your coffee table if you don't use a coaster. Why did you guys change a good product??
