Dress up with Vera
I bought the new chain bag in Baroque. This is a very classy look that can easily be dressed up, but is also on trend for fall bags. Love the "hidden" pocket for phone or keys (similar in size to Alice bag, but on inner panel of bag and accessible when bag is zipped). Inside the bag, you will find one 6.5" zippered pocket and three slip pockets. Two slip pockets measure 4.5" in width and the middle slip pocket measures 4". Both the chain strap and handles are removable for different looks. For those of you who like support in the bottom, there is none, but I find the bag still holds its shape nicely and it packs easily in a suitcase. I really love this new style which, for a medium-sized handbag fits quite a lot. Here's what I can fit in mine zipped: Turn Lock Wallet, small cosmetic bag, slim case, coin purse, mini note pad, travel size hand lotion, hand sanitizer, tissues, eyeglass case, key and a Nook (I keep my phone in the hidden pocket).

It does not sag!
I completely overlooked this bag for quite a while because several reviews mentioned it had no bottom hard base which was concerning. However I really would like to get something in Floral Nightingale as the pattern was gone in many styles and my choices were limited. So I took a second look at this bag. I also checked out several Youtube videos and I did not see a sagging bottom when bag was filled with items. I then went ahead to order three of the chain bags! Glad I did. The bag not only has a somewhat hard bottom as I can feel it, it also has somewhat hard support on the two ends of the bag ( the triangle area just below the D rings), this helps the bottom to hold because the bottom is 5" deep. It feels like a cardboard (bendable) on bottom and two ends, not unbendable hard base. Unless you are carrying a brick, it does not sag. The chain adds much chic. The bag is just the right size for everyday use. Even though I am returning one of the three bags, it is only because I don't like the pattern in person, not because I don't like the bag itself.

Like Getting 3 Bags...
This bag is a new favorite of mine. It is large enough to carry my daily essentials AND a book (or two!), but still small enough to be considered a purse, and not a tote bag. Inside, there are three medium-sized slip pockets (slightly larger than the ones in my old go-to-bag, the Lisa B) and one zip-close pocket. The top of the purse can zip closed if you desire (which I LOVE), but does not look sloppy if you leave it unzipped. My FAVORITE feature is the hidden pocket just above the zipper - perfect for stashing items you need to grab quickly, like your phone or keys (my iPhone and keys can fit comfortably in this pocket at the same time).
There are numerous ways to re-arrange the strap and handles - great for someone who likes to mix it up. In other reviews, people were saying the chain strap is loud - yes, it does clang sometimes, but it's not too bad (and you can easily remove the strap for situations where the extra noise is not welcome). I have had other bags by different vendors with similar straps, and they would occasionally fall out - this has not happened with this bag.
I got my bag in Safari Sunset, and have gotten many compliments from co-workers, friends, and even a few strangers. It also looked fantastic in Mocha Rouge and Baroque, so my next Vera purchase may be one of those. In my opinion, the website images do not do this bag justice - it looks much better in person.
