Beautiful "book keepers" lack in functionality
I was so excited to find these beautiful "Rhythm & Blues" boxes on a clearance table! They look wonderful in my sewing & craft room. The term "book keepers" is a misnomer, which I didn't notice until I read some reviews - they are designed for light weight items, for sure. I've had colored cardboard magazine boxes for years on my shelves with great success with magazines, project booklets, patterns, & more. They have functioned great, but these Vera Bradley boxes disappoint me. When I put just a few of the same items in the boxes the bottom immediately fell through & I can't move them from place to place without the bottom falling out. I have not packed them full nor made them heavy with their contents. Guess I will be taping mine like others have done. I will keep them for their beauty, but may go back to my plain boxes for functionality.

Not what i expected...
I have this book keeper in Plum Petals, i got it last year and it doesn't carry ANYTHING! Sure you can fold it for easy storage, but once you put it together it doesn't stay together. I just put one book in their and the book fell through the bottom; i wish it was more sturdy. On the bright side, the color stayed and not faded and mine still looks brand new!

Nice but Keep this in MIND...
I purchased this in VaVa BLoom for my office. THis is a light weight, in my opinion magazine, or folder storage item. TO ME, this is not meant for super heavy books. It is like a heay partical board material. I placed this item on my desk for decoration and I place file folders in it with my key office projects. You can fit a lot of folders in this but not heavy things. I hopes this helps so others will understand the purpose of this item and not be disappointed. IT is very nice and quite attractie.

Not what I expected
The Vera Bradley quality just is not there in these book keepers. Yes, they are pretty but the VERY FIRST time i put a book in one of them, the bottom part ripped off completely. I had to fix them BOTH with tape. They are good for light-weight magazines and such but nothing more.

These Book Keepers are lovely, sturdy and just too easy to put together. They're great for heavy fashion magazines; just don't overstuff them. I've spent more money in the past on magazine keepers of less quality. These come in two different patterns, and they're very attractive. Will purchase again!

Best File Folders Ever!
I've purchased similar magazine/file holders for much more money and none compare in quality, ease of assembly, attractiveness or size. Very sturdy! Rhythm and Blues is a good fit for my girly girl office and I like that the Keepers come in two versions of the same pattern.

These are ADORABLE, but....
Like I said, these are adorable. I love them in Happy Snails, but my room looks alot like one of the patterns Lemon Parfait. My desk is green and yellow, along with my V.B Stationary sets. I really wish that you guys made the book keepers in Lemon Parfait. Please make them soon!

Sturdy and fun
I picked up some of these when they came out and really love them so far. All of the other magazine holders I've used have had the type of bottom that has to fold together. These are different, though. The bottom is hard, like the sides, and it folds down from the inside to rest on a small bar that keeps it from flipping all the way down and out. The description says they collapse easily, and they really do--it's just one simple move, no trying to fit pieces together. The only issue I've seen so far is that if you pack it too tightly, the sides stretch and the base can slip past the bar and fall through. Other than that, they are sturdy and cute, and I will be going out to buy more ASAP!

Love that you are doing Book Keepers...but why no Mocha Rouge? Why not the Summer colors...would be more fond of these with more selection.
