Fantastic Bag
I purchased the Glenna in English Rose and just love it. I actually went into the store planning on buying the Whitney but they didn't have it in English Rose (my favorite color along with Blue Lagoon). I started looking around and came upon the Glenna, which I like so much better. I use this as my purse and I like pockets so I can keep myself organized, and this fits the bill. There's lots of room but it does not get bulky and feels very light. I recently went shopping at the mall and it did not weigh me down as some other bags do. I'm just thrilled with my purchase and plan on buying this in Island Blooms for summer.

Lovely Summer colors
I recently received my "Glenna" tote bag in "Summer Cottage."
With its cheerful flower design I intend to use this bag throughout the spring and summer. I also bought the brush and pencil case to match which I use for cosmetics, along with other small items, like bandages, pill box, mirror, comb, etc.
Although I like the design of the bag I am not as happy with the materials used in its construction. The four pockets inside the bag are not quilted. The same goes for the interior lining of the bag and the straps. A quilted strap is more comfortable on the shoulder than a flat piece of material. The material used inside the bag is of inferior quality and I am sorry to say the price is too high under the circumstances.
Another drawback is the baseboard which is stitched into the bottom; it is not removable for washing. So, why is it suggested in the "details" to put this bag in the washing machine? I plan to wash it by hand.
I am keeping this bag but feel some changes are in order.

"'Great over all bag."
I am a senior and I was thrilled when this bag arrived .Its the ellie blue color beautiful. Size is terrific for me carry meds and puffers,hankie and a book to read. Even a package of cookies to nibble,and a banana.and wallet in main compartment. I can carry my comb,grandkids picture folder all in the side pockets , pen and small note book also cell, .the front and back pockets are great for sunglasses , and receipts from stores.The great top zipper keeps everything from falling out.The shoulder straps are great, no problem keeping them in place. Its fabric is so attractive I get many comments on it. If your like me and carry a lot ,it works great. Worth every penny. My friends of all ages have been asking about it. Spring is here and I take it every where. I enjoy the compliments I get on it and let them know , who,s bag it is and how I got it. You can,t go wrong with this bag.

Everything About it is Perfect
Glenna is now my 4th VB bag and I think she is by far the best. She is the prefect size, not to big and not to small. The large outer pockets are also perfect as they are big enough and deep enough to keep most things safe but an easy reach away. Having a zipper on top is also nice for keeping prying eyes and hands out. This bag would have been great in any color but Va Va Bloom sure adds a little spice to my day. Great job Vera!

Shapely & Roomy!
I like this new design a lot. It is roomy and the 2 scoop pockets on the outside are handy. Love the longer strap drop on the Glenna (as well as on some other VB bags). The only negative aspect of the Glenna: the interior handbag base is not removable. I have seberal VB bags and i take really goid care if them-- washing them after A few weeks/months or whenever i swap to another VB bag. Wish youd re think your designs for all future Vera designs to be sure when pissible-- removable base fir washing! Love Vera Bradley bags the colors make my day!

Pleasantly surprised
I went in to my local VB store thinking of purchasing the three o tote. I ended up looking at this bag although I had never considered it. I instantly fell in love with the huge outside pockets. Those pockets is what ultimately sold me on this bag. I can fit so many necessities in the outside pockets and still have plenty of room inside for my large wallet, iPad mini, book, snacks and even a water bottle. Love the organization and functionality of this bag.
I will say I wanted this bag in midnight blues but was told that color is on back order until July. So instead I got va va bloom, which goes with everything and is so bright.

Love it!!
I bought a Glenna in Indigo Pop at the outlet sale and I absolutely LOVE it. It's perfect for carrying all of my stuff! I bought a hipster online, and it ended up being too small. The Glenna is big enough and has tons of pockets, I especially love the huge pockets on the outsides. Now I'm considering it in a different pattern, lol.

Not great if you like the Vera
This handbag is great if you do not carry a lot of things. I do not zipper it closed when it is full. My main complaint is that it seems a lot heavier (when filled with the same items) than my Vera. Good as a purse but not as a tote.

Lovey dovey!!!
I got the Glenna in TUTTI FRUTTI when it first came out, I only got it cause of all the good reviews, I had to try it out for myself!!! I am so glad I did. This bag is awesome. You can fit everything in this bag, I don't tend to zipper mine I like my bag to be open and able to grab out of it without the hassle of doing a zipper. I can fit my iPad ( in a Vera Bradley tablet folio), my travel pill case, kiss lock manicure set,coin purse, turn n lock wallet! And that's just in the main compartment!!! On the outside you have two picks (one on each side) and they are the full length of the purse!!! Great for your phone and keys. I even fit my water bottle in there too. Overall this bag is great!!! If you can't decide what bag to get, this is the bag!!!

A Pretty Purse but at what cost?
I bought the Glenna hoping to use it as a tote to carry my essentials to work. It arrived and it was much smaller than I thought. Also, there was a defect, some threads were loose and then re-sewed. It looked just like some little factory line defect.
However, the Glenna is a cute purse and I love that it zips closed, has slip pockets AND a good sized zipper pocket on the inside. Also, the outside pockets were generous and one could surely fit a lot in there.
Unfortunately, it was too small for me too keep. If it wasn't so expensive, I am sure I would have kept it to use as a handbag. I should have just bought another Vera style.
Bottom line- great if you can splurge on a purse.
