Looks pretty I was excited to order and receive my tote. It looks very stylish and my file folders fit nicely inside for work and school. My favorite part is the front pocket, very functional to keep small items handy (keys, lipstick) since I do not carry a purse. The inside is nice and has pockets to keep cell phone and pens in easy reach. The middle pocket with zipper keeps datebook and other small things separate and easily accessible as well. The.main negative is that it is not very wide to hold much more than papers and my date book. Even if I carry one book, it appears bulky. The bag is not lightweight either, it easily becomes cumbersome to carry. I can't figure that out. Therefore, I plan to try again and order a bag that is less wide, more tall and has a longer shoulder strap--hoping it will distribute the weight better? (I am looking at the "Tote".) I love the look of this bag, but would not purchase this particular one again for the purpose that I needed it. September 2, 2012

Could This Be the Tote of My Dreams? I've had countless Vera Bradley totes, all of them stylish, functional, and beloved. But this could be the best tote of all. Interior pockets make finding smartphone and lipstick a breeze, plus the patterned lining avoids the "black hole" effect, so I can see everything. The central zip compartment keeps my large cosmetic bag tidy, while the interior side zip pocket is good for coupons, bus schedules, etc. Even two pen holders! And there's more: the outside pocket with magnet flap is perfect for keys and work ID. A thoughtful size without being suitcase-ginormous, the bag has fun floral quilting to jazz up the exterior black microfiber. (I may have to buy another one and store it in the closet.) Best handbag I've ever had to stay organized! I have always been vexed by having a messy purse - could never stay organized - always digging. Wasted so much time. So frustrating! I got this bag a few weeks ago, along w the matching clear cosmetic bag and the large Camilla makeup bag. Voila! For the first time in my life, my bag is perfectly organized at all times. Great Tote with lots of organizing compartments I recently purchased this tote and love it. It has a lot of compartments for organization and is durable and just the right size. The inside lining complements the exterior very nicely. The center pocket is zippered for security. There are pockets for pens, cell phone, lipstick and another zippered pocket inside along the back wall for other important items. On the outside of the tote is a magnetic closing pocket for easy access to board passes, etc. I travel frequently and slide my electronics, wallet, boarding passes, purse, etc., inside this tote and am able to slide it under the plane seat. This and my rolling suitcase assures I travel organized and with ease. Incidentally, the tote had a snap closure at the top to hold everything intact inside the tote. Plus it looks very attractive and upscale. Well done Vera Bradley. I'd highly recommend this tote! February 18, 2012
