Colors pop on this glossy case!
I love the bright colors and glossy look of this iPhone case. It feels substantial without adding bulk. It also has a nice snug fit. It gives me the impression that my phone is well protected.
I was given this case as a gift and didn't realize that it came equipped with the card holder compartment until I had been using it for a couple of days. I don't have any issues with sliding the phone out of the case to access the compartment. I agree with other reviewers that it is a little tough initially but gets easier to do the longer the case is used.
Overall I am pleased with this case and will be purchasing another in the future.

Very disappointing, "slide" impossible to use,
Received as a gift with several other Lilli Bell items, love the color! But, the case which is supposed to slide down to hold ID or credit card etc. . . I found impossible to use. Once phone snaps into place, that is it, I spent a great deal of time (after realizing the slider wouldn't work) trying to get my phone out of the case. I almost broke the case, and was afraid my phone would be damaged. I love Vera Bradey, but will go back to using the tech case, or smartphone wallet. This is the first time I have ever returned a product to Vera Bradley because it was defective. But, it won't keep me from purchasing VB merchandise, I still love all the items and look forward to seeing the new colors pop up. I recommened they need to take a better look at IPhone cases.

Does not work properly!
Nice looking. Case does NOT easily slide open! I have not been able to slide it open at all! The case material very slippery. I feel that if I do pull hard to slide open the case the phone will fly out of my hand! Very disappointed! First time I have been disappointed with a Vera Bradley product. Phone covers need to go back to the drawing board!

Love it!
I absolutely love this case. I bought it in Midnight Blues and it is so beautiful! I plan to buy more patterns soon. I understand and agree with the other reviewers that the slide function is not ideal. I am fine with the level of protection it provides and don't find it too slippery. I did buy both the snap on and slide frame cases for iPhone 5 to compare them and liked this one much better. The snap on I felt was even harder to get off, and I liked the look of the whole frame around the front of this case better. Yes, it is hard to slide open, but as another reviewer mentioned, it gets easier. After 3 days with it, and only trying to open it a few times it now slides much easier although I still need to hold it right and use both hands. I personally couldn't have cared less about the sliding feature to begin with though. I'm not going to stick anything back there, I'd be afraid it would demagnetize my cards. I just liked the look of the thicker frame. Overall I highly recommend this case if you are looking for something pretty and are OK with not having a super protective case or the need for it to be sliding. I would have been fine had this feature been left off. Except, as previously stated, I find that the sliding makes it easier to get the case off the phone when I'm ready to switch.

Save your money
Bought this thinking it was SO cute! And I loved the idea of being able to put my card in it (hate carrying around my wallet and/or purse). However, once I got my phone in the case, it was impossible to slide. You have to (or are supposed to) slide it to get your phone out of the case. I almost ripped my nail off prying my phone from the case because it wouldn't slide out. Returned immediately. So sad because I have a VB obsession!!

Slippery
Colors are great. You can find the phone easily but that's it. This is too slippery, covers need to protect the phone not just look pretty. No grip. Second cover that I return, :(

Love this case
I bought this case at the Vera Bradley store this weekend even after reading the 1 star reviews. It is a bit difficult to slide at first, but I've noticed it has become easier the more I use it. I use it to hold my student ID and it works great! I love the look and the feel! I bought mine in Plum Crazy because it's my favorite print.

Disappointed in iPhone 5 slide out case. Slide doesn't work. Will probably return and wait for a iPhone 5 she'll case if they make it.

Love the look but very disappointed!
I agree with the other reviews. It looks great but does not slide once the phone is installed unless you use a lot of force. I could not even get a credit card in.

Disappointing!!!!
I love the look of the case but the design for the slide is awful!!!! This should have been tested before putting out to sell. It is impossible to slide without lots of force. Guess it will be used for case only. This is the first item I have ever bought from Vera Bradley that has been a disappointment, and I have LOTS of their products.
