Great mutli-use tote!
This is the perfect size for a day at the beach or a shopping excursion - no more juggling 4 or 5 bags at a time, or looking for something that will hold a beach towel plus a change of clothes plus snacks and drinks - this will hold them all! And the Marina Paisley pattern is perfect for summer fun!! It's disappointing to see a few negative reviews on this bag, since it's purpose is simply just a re-useable shopping bag, not meant to function as a purse or daily handbag.

This tote is a Beast!!!
I have this market tote in Marina Paisley and it is a beauty! I was very surprised on the size! It is massive. I use it when shopping and plan on getting a few more for gifts! This tote is a winner, Ladies!

Large and very handy!
I received this bag in Marina Paisley at a store event and the next day put it to use. Very spacious bag, has a lot of room with sturdy handles. It pops out with ease and holds its shape making it simple to pack. It also folds back up easily, flat. Easy to store in small spaces. I fit 4 Vera beach towels, 3 normal bath towels, 3 pairs of flip flops and my son's bucket and shovel for the beach in this bag. It never failed me even with all the walking and being on my shoulder. Excellent bag!!

useful for groceries and more!
This is a great bag for your groceries. The picture is slightly deceptive because the sides won't flare out like that once you have things in the bag. It is constructed with gusseted seams in the sides, so that once unfolded the bag has a 16" by 9" rectangular bottom and it's 14" tall.
This is much bigger than the reusable bags they sell at my grocery store, and much sturdier also.
I also plan on getting one to use as a beach bag. I think it will be perfect because the sand won't stick to the smooth material and it seems to be waterproof, so it can be rinsed out easily and will dry quickly

could use some improvements
The bag is very pretty and durable BUT the bag would be a lot more functional if the sides were not angled. Vera Bradley should have also mentioned the width of the bottom of the bag which is a little less than 17 inches by the way. the width of the top of the bag is also false. It's not 26 inches. my bristol pad is 24 inches and it turns out to be a VERY tight fit. I'll keep it just because its a little bigger than the original market tote. they shouldve included the small pocket like on the original market tote.

Too big, flimsy
The Midnight Blues patterns is really pretty but this bag has no structure. The side seams need to be reinforced with a binding so it stands up. Perhaps the size of the bag is the problem, too. It comes so folded up that it took me a moment to realize it has a flat bottom, but it just want to go back to its folded shape. It's okay, but I will only consider buying another one after I have seen it in a store, not online.
