Love the solid color, hate how stiff / rigid it is
I was so excited to see a solid color backpack from Vera, I purchased it immediately and at full retail (which is unusual for me!). I am disappointed. This backpack purse is much stiffer and less comfy than other Vera Bradley backpacks. The straps are very rigid and uncomfortable, not like the lovely sewn fabric straps on my other Vera backpacks. The inside pockets are sewn much lower down in the bag, which is very inconvenient. Bring back the higher pockets, so you don't have to dig deep down into the bag to reach them! The tablet pocket is excellent, but I think the flap should fasten or zip for security. I love Vera backpack purses so much, I'll keep this just to have a solid color, and am hoping it will soften up over time. BTW I love the size, it's perfect as an every day bag.

Toddler back pack
I should have paid attention to the dimensions, as it is the size of a child's back pack, and looks ridiculous on a full sized adult. I'm very disappointed, because I'd bought a VB backpack for my sister as a gift several years ago, and thought it would be that size. It's not big enough to carry what I need to carry to work: umbrella, wallet, cell phone, hat, gloves, scarf and lunch...so disappointed! I have the commuter bag, but I thought the backpack would be great for travel...BRING BACK the bigger backpack!

Bag not as big as previous backpack
As usual this bag is made well, it's not what I was looking for. Vera had a larger version with more open/zip external pockets as the one previously made. I was hoping when I saw this bag Vera had brought back the old style. I'm so bummed. The outer open pocket was perfect for cell phone and keys. I returned this bag.

Vera needs to make this backpack in other colors
I love this backpack. It is the perfect size. I am desperate for other microfiber colors. Browns, tans, purples!!!
