Carryon love
I just took my second trip with this piece. I bought it because I decided I needed a good rolling carryon after the airline left us in one city, re routed us elsewhere and lost our luggage in the process. You haven't lived until you get to use the airline toiletry kit. Ugh. I travel with my family, so I needed room for a change of clothes and toiletries for all of us (the Vera pencil cases are the perfect size for the 3oz rule, and clear!). This fits all of this, plus several books, chargers, snacks for the kids, my iPad and kindle. The iPad fits nicely in the laptop pocket, with mesh pockets for chargers, and the small zip holds the kindle. Perfect for everything and easy to roll through the airport. Fits perfectly in overhead. The only drawback is that with iPad and kindle in the front it sometimes tips, but not often. Nice wipeable fabric, slightly shiny, so I'm not worried about it getting dirty. It would also work well for a quick weekend if you didn't want to check. My husband was amazed at the amount of stuff I managed to fit and still be carryon compliant! I have it in Indigo Pop and get lots of compliments on it when people see it in the overhead. I wish this came larger (especially in this print), I would buy a 27" version with this style of fabric in a heartbeat. The larger cases seem to be a different fabric that feels like it would get dirty, especially when checked. Plus they only have the 27" in one pattern right now. Not a fan. Please make this bigger, Vera!

I won the rolling satchel and exchanged it for this carry on and like this much better for airport travel. The front zipper compartment has a padded space for your laptop, an id window, and two mesh compartments that you could fit shoes in if you wanted. I have a 14.5 inch laptop that fits with just a little bit hanging over the top, so this would probably be perfect for a 14 inch laptop.
Also, unlike other suitcases, when you unzip the main compartment of this one it opens side-to-side (like a book), not front-to-back. The only issue I am having so far is that I cannot find a good spot to attach a VB luggage tag to the outside of the bag. If you put it on one of the handles you can't tighten it to ensure it won't come off, and it won't fit on any of the zippers.
Lastly, there are two handles, one on the top by the T-Bar and another on the side, so that you can decide which way to carry it. Overall I love this bag and would highly recommend it!

great for highschool backpack
i use this as my backpack for highschool. it is the perfect size and i highly reccomend it.
