Sharp looking
I bought this bag for use as a carry on. Works well. Holds alot of stuff. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the lack of outside pockets. Even if there was just one it would be ok. Remake the bag Vera Bradley with an outside pocket please.

Great Large Tote for School, Weekend Get A Way!
I was looking for a bag that was big enough to hold books, a set of sheets, a light weight blanket , pillow , and enough room for supplies that I may need for my Acupuncture class. Now , I have everything I need with graceful class and style! Thanks, Vera Bradley...I also purchased the matching all around zip wallet in black to match ! Kathy Anne R.

Nice looking; limited use
This tote is very large and nice looking. The stitching pattern used this year for the microfiber is very attractive. However, the tote is lacking a closure and enough pockets. There are no pockets on the outside at all. While the tote fits a lot of stuff, the stuff is not handy or guaranteed to remain in the bag. Best use seems to be carrying handbag, lunch tote, light jacket/sweater - just a few larger items. For pool or beach use, the mesh and colorblock totes seem much more appropriate. I wish Vera would make the Get Carried Away tote in Classic Black.

VERY big...
I went to the Vera Bradley store to see this bag before buying it and I'm glad I did. It is VERY big! I was excited when I saw it online as I LOVE big tote bags and hoped it would be a bit larger than the East West tote which is now discontinued. :( Unfortunately, this bag is about 2x the size of the East West tote and not what I was hoping for. The color, pattern and style are great, just needed to be a bit smaller for an everyday East West commuter bag.
