22" Rolling Duffel
I really love Vera Bradley, and all the things I have gotten are great. I am looking for a more inexpensive option for a suitcase from Vera Bradley. I do not pack a lot, and I was wondering if this product would work well for a week long trip. (I did not give a 5 star because I don't have the product.)

North country travel girl
Very well constructed wheeled duffle. Love , love love it. Wish it came in more colors, and that the black one had a prettier print in the inside. I would not leave town without it. No problems easy to handle and as always Vera Bradley delivers!!!!

I really like this style and the other rolling styles, but I don't like the color. Vera, could you please make this in all of your colors, or at least a couple more???

Very cute and durable piece of luggage
I have traveled several times with this piece of luggage. I actually bought this piece because it was $80 cheaper than the 22' inch spinner. I used this as my carry on and it worked perfectly. I have used it on several international flights and luggage still looks new. It will tip over if you stand it up with the handle upright, but that's why it's also made as a duffel. While waiting, I sat it down as a duffel and it's light enough to carry as a duffel if needed too. It's roomy and there are several pockets inside to organize. I was able to pack two days of clothing, a pair of tennis shoes, flip flops, small jacket and a few other items in there as well. It's small enough to use even as a simple weekend bag as well.

Amen! This Is a Great Bag!
In 2011 for Christmas I received the 22" Rolling Duffel in Mocha Rouge! I love the rolling duffel because it is very stylish and practical! My rolling duffel is very big and and fits a ton of things. The extra pockets help a lot. You will be able to put a ton of items in the extra pockets.
I know for most people it can be hard to find the right suitcase, or duffel bag for traveling. If you are having trouble finding the right suitcase, or duffel bag stop looking! You have found the right duffel bag! I promise you if you end up buying the 22" Rolling Duffel you will be very happy and pleased! I have taken my rolling duffel everywhere with me.
If you are flying you will have no trouble!! I went to Lana'i at Manele Bay in Hawaii, Denver, Colorado, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Disney World, Orlando Florida, Morocco, Italy, South Carolina and North Carolina with my rolling duffel and I was very pleased with my experience! It is a great carry-on as well!!
I would recommend the rolling duffel to anyone!! It is great and worth the money!!

Great bag? Depends...
I used my Java Blue( retired pattern) rolling duffel along with the matching rolling 17" under seat bag (retired style) bags for a two week trip to France. I needed small luggage to travel on a small canal boat.
I found that if I packed something stiff such as shoes on the wheel side of the case, it helped the tipping problem. The wheel base is narrow so the bag is not as stable just rolling along especially with the other bag piggybacked on it.
As far as overhead in the plane the bag has to sit sideways instead of sliding head on. Also, some European carriers might restrict it because of it's dimensions.
I also used packing cubes to maximize and organize the bag. There is a large zip mesh pocket on the inside lid that works great for scarves and accessories and smaller pockets along the sides.
Worked well on the Metro, trains and the boat.
If you are able to travel light this bag is just the ticket.

Maybe better suited for car trips than airplanes
Bought this to use as an airplane carryon. Agree with other reviews in that it easily topples over when upright and handle extended. Difficult to maneuver through airplane aisle. Because it easily topples over, I ended up carrying it more with the handles than truly pulling on wheels (at which point I wished it had a shoulder strap!).
Might be better used as weekend duffle/car trips with the option of using the wheels but doesn't function as well as other upright carry on bags that need to be wheeled (and upright) from ticket counter, through security, down to gate and unto plane.
One positive - durable material definitely gave the duffle more structure than the fabric duffles.

Not a fan
Such a beautiful bag, but still don't like it! It doesn't roll well, tends to tip, and the top is quite a bit narrower than the bottom, so it doesn't hold as much as you'd think. My other 22" bags hold alot more. Also the harder ends stands a little too tall, even when the bag isn't packed full, making it hard to squeeze into the overheads. Had to be forced and I was afraid I was going to rip it or that the FA might make me check it. I have several grand travelers and weekenders, multiple small and large regular duffels, a garment bag, a 22" spinner, another rolling duffel in Blue Rhapsody, and etc. I love most of your bags, but sorry Vera not this one. Major fail and would give it zero stars if I could.
