Not what I was hoping
I've long been a fan of the Large Backpack, but upon wearing out yet another one, I thought I'd try this for an updated look.
Sizewise, it's almost identical to the Large Backpack, and the pockets and compartments hold similar things. I also like how easy it is to see inside when the main compartment is unzipped, and that it allows ease of carrying with the small top handle or the backpack straps.
The downsides for me, however, are these:
1) The "U" shape of the main compartment makes it hard to zip. With the Large Backpack, I can just yank on each zipper to pull it easily to the top. With this one, it's a downward motion to zip it closed, so it takes two hands, one to hold the top fabric while zipping with the other.
2) The smaller front compartment is well-designed to hold a couple of pens, lip gloss, and perhaps a small wallet. It, however, would benefit from a second zipper like the top compartment. That simple touch would make it much more convenient.
3) The padded part of the straps is comfortable, but I dislike the webbed part at the bottom. Again, I feel that the Large Backpack's straps are more useful overall.
After giving this a good try, I think I'm going to set it aside for my daughters to use, and order another Large Backpack or two while they're still available. It's been a good all-around summer bag for me for several years, and I much prefer it to this cute, but not as convenient, Double Zip Backpack.

Theme Park Perfect!
This was a great pack for DisneyWorld. I was able to pack some snacks, necessaries for the kids and miscellaneous stuff collected throughout the day for our week-long vacation to Disney. It was lightweight, comfortable even in the heat and a great size (not too big or too small). I coupled it with the mini hipster for days in the parks. I kept my camera and phone, lip gloss and card/cash in the mini hipster. It was a perfect combo. It also served as a carry on for the plane ride to and from. Thanks for such a great product!

only one flaw
I bought my bag at the start of school in indego pop! its beautiful! only one problem. Where the straps connect to the bottom of the bad is a weak spot. I've used mine all year and over time it began ripping away fromm the bottom of my bag. Over all its a wonderful bag! love the top zip so I can open it without my stuff crashing out. it holds all my school essentials and is supper comfortable on the shoulders.

Love this medium-sized backpack.
I received mine as a gift and love it for a daily work bag. It is not terribly large, but works well for a medium-sized load. My favorite feature is the double zip opening because it makes getting into the backpack a breeze. It's cute and comfortable and I highly recommend this bag!

Perfection
I got this backpack for school, and I am in 9th grade! I rarely stop at my locker throughout the day, so this is perfect! I am able to fit one LARGE book, one 1 1/2 inch binder, one folder (with A LOT of papers) and 2 500 page notebooks just for one half of the day! I love this! I got it in summer cottage during winter 2012. I wouldn't recommend putting it on the ground in your class though, it gets dirty! Other than that a perfect addition to my vera family! I recommend it to anyone looking for a great bag!

Amazing Backpack for College
So I just bought this backpack in summer cottage for my spring semester of college, and I have to say, it's AMAZING. I'm really petite, about 4'9, so the campus backpack was way too big for me, but this one is the perfect size.
At first, I thought it was going to be too small, but boy, was I wrong. I dorm but I go home a lot, so I always lug around my books and things like that. I can fit my carry-it-all wristlet in the front pocket along with other little things, my 13" Macbook and some textbooks and a notebook or two in the main compartment, my iPad in the back pocket, and water bottles on the sides. The straps are so comfortable, even when my backpack is full, and it never looks bulky (which is definitely a plus).
All in all, I definitely think it's worth it, the colors really pop and it'll be great for anyone that commutes to school, or just carries a lot around with them too! I've gotten so many compliments on it and it's only been a week! (:

Another Great One!
I have this bag in midnight and blues and man do I love it! It fits so much,and is so pretty!I bought this for my trip and it is great for the day trips when you need all your things (small jacket,iPad mini ( fits great in back pockests ),binoculars and more ! I recommend this to people who likes pretty things that are very useful . I love the bright pattern and will get more products in it !

Everyday commute
I recently purchased this bag in the baroque pattern for my commute to the city everyday. I like backpacks because they evenly contribute the weight on my shoulders. I need to bring shoes, lunch, iPad, and misc items with me everyday, and this bag accommodates it all! Not only is it stylish, but it's comfortable and it isn't bulky like a lot of backpacks. I'm glad it's easy to wash and looks great. I received several compliments on this bag already.
