Best to go with ON THE GO
I LOVE THIS PURSE...I just purchased it and can't find one thing wrong with it. It is a perfect bag. I can fit so much in it, love the clean, classy look, it can be worn for everyday or a more elegant affair. Easy to keep things organized, love the side pockets and the outside zipper compartment. All in all its a great purse. The straps are adjustable which makes the bag even more versital. And I know purses I have many!!! I recommend it 100%.

Love this bag!
I just got this bag to replace a patterned On the Go bag. I was very hesitant with some of the reviews. The strap is a little stiffer, but it does not stand straight up. I tried to get it to stand straight up and couldn't do it. My biggest worry with this bag was that I always put my iPhone 4S in the side pocket and it wouldn't fit easily... I just put an old Otterbox in the pocket with an Angry Bird brick from kids' toys and it stretched the pocket perfectly without showing any wear. The bag does not seem smaller than the patterned ones, I personally think it feels bigger. And I'm sure the bag will only get better as it stretches out and breaks in. It looks very classy.

Great bag, bad strap
Love the On the Go, it is a great bag! I was so happy when Vera came out with the solid black and ordered one. I did keep the bag but I really do not like the strap, it is EXTREMELY STIFF and nothing like the straps on the bags.

strap heavy and stiff
I was so excited to learn the On the Go has a longer strap and comes in black. But the strap is the same as the black hipster and makes the bag feel heavier. I buy Vera bags because they are lightweight! The tops of the outside pockets also have the weird stiffness, so they stick out and it's hard to get things out of them. All the pockets on the bag are great, but the outside ones should lay flat when not in use.
I love the soft webbed strap on the Pushlock Crossbody so much. I just wish it were on the new line of black bags.

Doesn't work!!
Have probably 20 other On The Go purses and love them!! This black microfiber bag seems smaller without bottom piece and strap is so stiff it stands up straight- returned it immediately

Very disappointed
I own 14 different colors of the on the go bag. I am very disappointed in the new design and especially the Vera Vera. The bottom of the bag is missing the flat bottom and so it makes it seem smaller. The extra zipper is nice and the strap doesn't bother me. Also do not like the new hardware. The bag went back immediately after I saw it. The quality also in not as good.

BLACK ON THE GO
I have been waiting so long for a solid color for my favorite the On The Go purse. I bought it yesterday and love it.
I like the two zippers and the updated side pockets. Everything fits I can't imagine ever getting tired of this one.

Been waiting for this a long time!
I have purchased at least 20 On the Go bags in the classic cotton patterns over the years because they are my favorite and seem to fit everything I want to carry so well! I usually shop in a store, but in looking for a specific pattern found myself at verabradley.com. I used the search bar and entered On the Go and was so happy to see a microfiber! I have been hoping you would make On the Go in microfiber or denim or something else for variety for years! My new bag came today and it is perfect! I love it! I see you are sold out online so I am glad I ordered when I did! Make some more!

Been waiting a long time!
I have the On the Go in Suzani (which is my favorite pattern and purse) and I use it almost daily. I love the crossbody strap, all the compartments and the perfect size. But when my clothing is patterned, I have always wished that same purse came in solid black. I was very excited to find that Vera Bradley answered my wish! I stayed up late to order it online the moment it was available on August 30. I haven't received it yet, but I'm giving it 5 stars just to report how grateful I am to be finally getting the On the Go in solid black! Thank you Vera Bradley! I already know I love the style, so, after receiving and using the purse for awhile, I hope I can report back another 5 stars for how well it holds up.

My favorite Vera Bradley purse
I purchased this the day it came out on August 30th. I love it.
I love the black color as it is more business like. Yet, this purse is more feminine than my 13 year old leather Coach purse because of the quilted black-on-black pattern.
I love the light-colored inside lining; it helps me find my things easier. All the pockets are really what does it for me. This purse looks classy and yet is very functional.
I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to use this purse a very long time.
