Favorite bag! I went to the store to see this bag in person before purchasing and I was sold. I have a 1 year old and love that it can hold all my essentials plus diapers, wipes, snacks, extra outfit, and some toys! You can put as little or as much in it as you want. The inside is lined in white but you can still see the print inside through the lining and I love that it is lined because let's face it not all sippy cups are 100% leak proof! The strap is so comfortable and it doesn't dig in to my shoulder when wearing it cross body which was an issue with my Vera saddle bag. The big outside zipper pocket is huge and holds a lot and the two outer pockets are perfect for keys, cell phone, hand sanitizer. The inside pockets are a great size and hold diapers and wipes perfectly! I have received many compliments on this bag and I've only had it a few days and after using it it is my new favorite Vera bag! I got it in the ribbons color and it's so pretty and fun and I think it could be worn year round! Thank you Vera for thinking of moms with toddlers! October 8, 2012
Great bag, for us busy Mom's on the go! I just received this bag in Canyon. I only gave it 4 stars because I just received it, and I want to see how the wear & tear holds up. I like the two compartments inside the bag, but would like to see two more on the other side in the bag. Also, the bag is very roomy, and the large zipper compartment on the outside fits alot of stuff, which I need since I have a little one. I like how in the inside of the bag the lining is plastic, which is great with a little one. I can just wipe it out, if needed and the liner can be removed when I need to wash the bag. Overall, this seems to be worth the money. I would suggest if any Mom's are looking for a bag to use everyday, this is it. May 3, 2013

New Favorite...with a little issue I am a longtime Vera lover! I recently made the switch from zip top totes like Villager and Three-O to Mom's Day Out and I am hooked! For those who have never used a cross body tote, the experience is liberating! Yes I am a busy mom, but this bag is great for any day out. I use it as my everyday purse, and I fit everything I kept in my Villager, with the ease and comfort of hands free. One little issue, I hope that Vera hears me on this...the stitching that secures the double outer pocket and interior pockets is unraveling...after just about 2 weeks of gentle use. I'm afraid this is a defect of the bag because I tryed one on in the store and noticed the same thing was happening (to a brand new bag). Anyway I hope Vera keeps the Mom's Day Out but improves upon this imperfection. I love this bag so much I intend to get one every season! April 24, 2013
Great bag for moms I love VB bags. I bought this bag at the VB outlet store by chance and loved the fact it was lined on the inside. I went straight home and switched out purses to use it right away. The outside pockets are great- they will hold a water bottle easily. I also love that can be used as a cross body. I would highly recommend this for moms with toddlers. April 12, 2013
Good bag for moms or anyone Im the mom of a 9 year old. She is to big for me to carry a baby bg, but I still need a bag to tote her ( and her friends) stuff. When I volunteer on field trips, I use a campus backpack, but I wanted something for everyday use. Enter the moms day out. I can throw a lot of stuff in there and it looks like a purse. Not as big as my favorite the go around tote, but it is great for everyday use with the kiddos!! April 9, 2013
Love this bag! I bought this bag for a trip to Disney with my 3 boys and it was perfect. I could easily fit bottled water in the outer pockets and all the various items inside we needed for full days at the parks. The cross body strap was comfortable and very functional. Roomy yet not too cumbersome. I will be carrying this bag for years to come. It's not just for mums with small children -- it's simply a great bag overall! April 3, 2013
Finally, a purse I didn't return! Let me start off by saying I've tried many VB purses in many VB colors then I finally loved not only the pattern but this purse as well! The clare was too small, the morgan wasn't crossbody, and the on the go had outside pockets on the ends that did not fit anything! I saw this purse, but I thought it was too big. However, it is a great size for me who never has my hands free and the outside pocket is perfect for my phone! I have had paisley meets plaid, frankly scarlet, and the rasberry fizz. I now have ribbons, ribbons everything! Inside my VB purse is the ribbons cosmetic bag along with the strappy wallet. When I was filling this purse I had so much room I forgot about the outside zipper pocket, so as much as I thought I needed an inside zipper guess I didn't. After reading reviews I thought the inside fabric was going to be awful, but I do not have a problem with it. I think it is just fine. I wear it crossbody with my boys and I absolutely love ribbons! What a Great Bag!! I was interested in Vera Bradley bags for a while. I am very picky on my bags and it takes me forever to pick out a bag. I am a hands on kind of person and had been looking online. Well this bag is great. I absolutely love this bag. It has enough room for all my stuff. My only complaint is I wish it would have a zippered compartment inside the bag. I have noticed that most higher end bags are doing away with the zippered compartment Which I for one like in my bag to contain small items. Other than that I would have given this bag 5 stars.
