I fly internationally and domestically quite often. And, I cannot help buying local signature pottery so my flight to home was always struggle with heavy carry-ons as pottery cannot be packed in the checked suitcase. I experienced sweating and carrying the maximum number and weight of bags below freezing. People sometimes saw me mockingly.
This 22" Rollying Duffel completely got rid of my gloom. Not only rollying parts but also the trolley sleeve enabled me to securely and lightly carry stuff either as the carry-on (still rolling) or as the top of check-in suitcase.
It is roomy and easy to open. As the video shows, the front pocket is perfect to hold your passport and boarding documents when your hands are full.
The most functional Vera ever, so please don't discontinue for new patterns. I'll keep buying it.

I bought the rolling duffel last year along with a matching weekender. I got the weekender specifically because of the trolley sleeves and that it could be slid on to the handles of the rolling duffel. Ok, so like many other reviewers I experienced the constant tipping problem. And a big problem it was. Whenever I stopped moving at the airport and tried to get the duffel with the attached weekender to stand, it tipped over making it a problem and looking clumsy to all around me as well. So, I thought that this duffel had been a bad purchase.
Well, last weekend I used it to by itself when flying and it was great! The key to having this duffel stand straight is not to attach anything to the handles with a trolley sleeve. The duffel held alot of stuff, I was able to run through the airport for a late flight and the duffel just rolled along behind me. Not to mention that I had the best looking carryon on the plane!
