 To commemorate the 100th Anniversary
of Marymount College, the Alumni Association
and Vera Bradley are pleased to introduce the Marymount Commemorative Tote. Inspired by their years at Marymount, Melissa McGoy-Garzione,
Alumni President, and Barbara Bradley Baekgaard,
Vera Bradley Co-Founder, collaborated to make
certain that aspiring women will have the opportunity
to attend the school.
100% of net proceeds from the sale of the
Marymount Commemorative Tote will be donated
to The Legacy Fund. The fund is in honor of all the notable women who have graduated from Marymount. It will financially support tomorrow’s leaders, the future alumni of Marymount College and Fordham University.

In addition to honoring past graduates, Vera Bradley dedicates the scholarship fund in the memory of Mary Sloan. Mary graduated from Marymount in 1961 and played an integral part in building Vera Bradley as its first Sales Consultant. Sadly, Mary lost her courageous battle with breast cancer in 1992. Barbara and her Vera Bradley Co-Founder, Patricia Miller, established the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer which has pledged over 10 million dollars to fight the disease.
