Shipping Methods and Costs

Vera Bradley offers several shipping options during checkout, including Ground (SmartPost), Ground (Home Delivery), Second-Day Air and Next-Day Air. We offer FedEx SmartPost® during a majority of the year, which utilizes the U.S. Postal Service for final delivery on a standard business day (Monday-Saturday, excluding federal holidays):

Ground (SmartPost)
  1. Your order is processed at the Vera Bradley Distribution Center near Fort Wayne, Indiana.
  2. Your order will ship from the Distribution Center via FedEx.
  3. FedEx will deliver your order to your local U.S. Post Office.
  4. The U.S. Postal Service will deliver your order to your shipping address.
Ground (Home Delivery)
  1. Your order is processed at the Vera Bradley Distribution Center near Fort Wayne, Indiana.
  2. Your order will ship from the Distribution Center via FedEx.
  3. FedEx will deliver your order to your shipping address.

Please refer to the shipping chart below for specific estimated shipping times. Orders placed to APO or FPO military addresses will be delivered United States Postal Service (USPS) Standard.

You may also upgrade your shipping method for faster delivery (such as Next Day service) within the contiguous 48 states via FedEx. If you choose to upgrade your shipping method, your order will process and ship out of our Distribution Center the next business day.

Delivery Options

Orders selected for Ground (SmartPost) or Ground (Home Delivery) service will leave our Distribution Center within 2 days after the order is placed. After the order leaves our Distribution Center, delivery times vary based on the shipping method selected during checkout and your shipping address.

Shipping Rules and Restrictions

  • FedEx Ground (SmartPost) and FedEx Ground (Home Delivery) orders are delivered Tuesday through Saturday, excluding major holidays, within the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • FedEx Second Day Air and Next Day Air orders are delivered Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays, within the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • Orders shipping to an APO/FPO military address may only be shipped via USPS Standard and cannot be expedited. Please allow 5-7 business days for the product to arrive at the U.S. military post office box. We cannot guarantee delivery times after the order is delivered to the military post office box.
  • All expedited orders require a correct street address in order for delivery to be made on time.
  • You will not incur any charges until the order has been shipped to you.
  • Please call Customer Service at (888) 855-8372 during normal hours of operation if you have any questions.

Tracking Your Order

Tracking numbers are assigned to packages when they are shipped from our Distribution Center and will appear on our website under “My Account” along with your order information.

Tracking availability may vary depending on the shipping method selected during checkout and the carrier that is delivering your order.

There are several ways to track the status of your order:

  • Check your email. The email address you provided during checkout allows us to provide information about the status of your order.
  • Visit the website. Click Order Status or Sign In to your account to view order history, tracking information, and information about past orders at verabradley.com 24 hours a day.
  • Contact us. If you still have questions about your order, contact Customer Service at (888) 855-8372 during normal hours of operation.

The status of your order is supplied by verabradley.com and applies to your order between the time you place it and the time it ships from our Distribution Center. Once your order leaves our Distribution Center, it is handled by a carrier (FedEx or U.S. postal service) that may provide tracking information until your order is delivered. If available, the tracking information is accessible from “Order History” in “My Account”.
