Returns for Online Orders

For your convenience, products purchased at verabradley.com may be returned with the original proof of purchase through the mail within 30 days of purchase date. Here’s how to return items purchased at verabradley.com:

Repack Merchandise

Package the merchandise in its original container, if available. Enclose the completed Return Form. Be sure to keep the Packing Slip (if available) for your records.

Credit

Items listed on the standard Return Form will credit the original form of payment within 7-10 days (up to 14 days during peak holiday times) after we have received your returned product. Items listed on the Gift Return Form will be credited with an electronic gift certificate. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax, but will not include the original shipping and handling charges. Note: You will only be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturing or shipping error on our part.

Rules & Restrictions for Online Order Returns

  • Returns must be prepaid and insured by the customer and shipped via the carrier of your choice.
  • When shipping a return, you must you must complete the Return Form enclosed with your order or Gift Return Form if you received the item as a gift, and indicate the reason for the return and provide comments, if necessary. You may also download and print a copy of the standard Return Form or Gift Return Form.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
  • All products must be unused and undamaged to ensure a full credit. We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy.
  • We will not accept CODs or third-party billing for returned merchandise. All COD packages will be refused.
  • We cannot be responsible for items that we do not receive.
  • In the event that an item is damaged during shipping, please contact the carrier or Customer Service at (888) 855-8372 during normal business hours.

Returning Items to a Vera Bradley Retail Store

To return products purchased at verabradley.com to an authorized Vera Bradley retail store:

  1. Visit the Favorite Store printed on your Packing Slip, or use our Store Locator to find your nearest Vera Bradley retailer.
  2. Present the original Packing Slip, along with the merchandise, to a sales associate.
  3. Your retailer will return the merchandise to us on your behalf.
  4. For returns within 30 days of purchase, please allow 7-10 business days after we have received your returned product for credits to be applied to the original form of payment.

Damaged or Defective Items

If one or more of the items you received from verabradley.com is damaged or defective, immediately return the item to our online store or to a Vera Bradley authorized retailer. Follow the return instructions on the packing slip, indicate one of the reason codes available on the Return Form, and provide comments, if necessary. You will receive an email notification when we have processed your return and issued the appropriate credit.

Exchanges

We do not automatically process exchanges at this time; however, you may order a replacement item at any time by placing a new order. Return your order and contact Customer Service at (888) 855-8372 during normal business hours for further assistance.

Order Cancellations

Items may not be cancelled once an order has been placed. After you receive your order, simply follow our return instructions or call customer service at (888) 855-8372 during normal business hours to make a replacement order.

Items may occasionally be cancelled by our system if there was an issue with the order or in low-stock situations. If an item is cancelled, you will receive an email notice that will explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items.
