Fort Wayne, Ind. (February 7, 2012) - Vera Bradley announces promotions and additions to the executive team.
Anne Frantz promoted to Executive Design Director, Visual Merchandising & Store Design from Senior Visual Merchandising Creative Director. She graduated from Indiana University with a BA in consumer economics and minor in interior design. Her previous experience includes Adams & Walda and Rustic Hutch.
Joan Maxwell promoted to Vice President of Merchandising from Senior Merchandising Director. She holds a BS in marketing from Miami University and has previous experience with Donna Karan Hosiery, Eileen West, I. Magnin and Bloomingdale's.
Pam Sours promoted to Vice President of Global Manufacturing & Quality from Senior Director of Global Manufacturing & Quality. Sours earned a MBA at Indiana Wesleyan University and a BS in organizational leadership and supervision and an Associate of Applied Science in electrical engineering technology from Purdue University. Her experience includes: Guide Corporation, American National Can Company and ALCOA CSI.
Anastacia Knapper is Vera Bradley's new Vice President and General Counsel. She was previously Vice President - General Counsel at CTS Corporation in Elkhart, Ind. Her previous experience includes: Haynes International, Inc. and Ice Miller LLP. She has a JD from Notre Dame Law School and a BS from University of Kent.
Lisa Mis joins the team as Vice President of Global Sourcing coming from Banana Republic where she was VP of Global Production. Her past experience includes: Disney Stores, Inc., Bennett & Company, Nap and MAST Industries. She earned a BS in textile production management and an Associate of Applied Science in fashion buying and merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Kevin Sierks joins Vera Bradley as Vice President and Controller. He holds a BS in accounting from Indiana University. His past experience includes Boston Scientific Corporation, Guidant Corporation, Deloitte, and most recently he was Vice President and Corporate Controller at Biomet in Warsaw, Ind.
