Vera Bradley Implements New Registration for the Outlet Sale
Goal is to Improve Customer Experience
Fort Wayne, Ind. (February 11, 2009) – Vera Bradley will make improvements to the Outlet Sale to give consumers the ultimate shopping experience! A new registration system will be put in place to allow Vera Bradley the ability to provide promotional information and updates to all registrants throughout the sale. In addition, the company will be able to accurately track purchase information and ensure adherence to the $2500 per person purchase limit.
“We believe this is a positive approach in providing a better selection of product for all of our customers,” says Jill Nichols, Vera Bradley chief operating officer.
- Anyone who would like to make a purchase must be registered and have a photo ID. Registration is $5. Pre-registration will provide shoppers with coupons and special promotional offers. Onsite registration will also be available at the sale. Registration begins in mid March at verabradley.com. Just print a registration confirmation and bring it to the sale. Shoppers may register at the sale; however, pre-registration is encouraged to decrease wait time in line. (Consumers only need to register once even if they want to come back multiple times. Those not planning to make a purchase do not need to register (i.e. kids, spouses, etc).
- Vera Bradley has decided to provide five public sale days instead of four, due to the increasing number of attendees each year. There will no longer be a “Friends of the Foundation Day.” However, Vera Bradley hopes the larger attendance will increase the Foundation’s pink ribbon sales and donations given at the registers.
