This backpack can carry a lot I got this backpack 8 moths ago and feel I've had it long enough to review it. I have ADD and Aspergers so for me it takes a lot of stuff to keep organized. In the main pocket -4 1 1/2in binders -4 100 page spiral bound notebooks with a folder pocket -2 9x6 textbooks at 1 1/2in thick -A Vera Bradley Large cosmetic bag In the middle pocket -Vera Bradley pencil case -Small DayPlanner -Sudoku Book In the front pocket -Kindle (in a case) Side pockets -water bottle -deck of cards The only thing it doesn't hold is my 11x14 art sketchbooks. With all my stuff my backpack weighs about 20lbs, and the only wear I've seen on it is the handle is starting to fray on the edges. Another note on weight, if you zip it up and leave the zippers in the middle it will unzip, but this is easily fixed by zipping to one side. It has some inside pockets that I only really use for quick information sheets that I fold up and can easily find without having to go through everything. Since the bag doesn't have many organizers and has huge compartments, it can easily become a black hole if not organized. It's also good for travel, because you can use it on airplanes as the bag that goes under the seat, I just shove my other bags in it, and they don't say anything because you're only carrying one bag. I'd definitely suggest this backpack to middleschool/highschool/college students who needs to carry a lot and want a sturdy, pretty backpack. March 17, 2013
Great backpack for anyone, fits alot of supplies! I just bought this backpack in Lime's Up, and I love it. It wasn't sure if I should get this backpack over the Laptop Backpack, but I decided to get this one. Last school year I bought the Laptop Backpack in Happy Snails, and it fit a good amount of stuff. I decided to compare both backpacks, to see which one can fit more supplies. What can fit in the Campus Backpack: Main Zipper: (2) 1 1/2 inch binders (1) 1 inch binder (3) 3 subject notebooks (3) 1 subject notebooks (6) folders (five star brand. Keep in mind, they are not stuffed with any papers) (1) Vera Bradley Medium Cosmetic Case (I use this as a pencil case, and it is filled already) (2) Packs of gum (1) Small notebook (2) Pencils Second Largest Zipper: (1) i-Phone (2) Pencils (1) Calculator More stuff can fit in here, I didn't put anything else though. Last Zipper: (1) Book (1) Agenda And each of the side pockets can fit a water bottle, which has plastic material on the inside! The Campus Backpack can fit alot of supplies, and does fit more than the Laptop Backpack. I tried putting all of these supplies into the Laptop Backpack by Vera Bradley, and it did not fit. About 85% of the items listed here fit in the Laptop Backpack. Plus, I like the overall design better than the Laptop Backpack. The Laptop Backpack, is blocky and I'm not a big fan of the shape of it. The Campus Backpack, has a nice shape to it, and doesn't look huge when you wear it (like the Laptop Backpack does) Overall, this is a great product, for a highschool or college student!! Best backpack I've Ever Had! I bought my campus backpack, for high school, in ellie blue back when this pattern was on sale in early 2013. This is the best backpack i have ever had! I would literally get compliments everyday! The maximum I've held in my backpack is three full size text books and a lunch and it held up so well. A planner can easily fit in the front pocket and the little odds and ends i would usually put in a purse fit in the pockets easily. The weight in the shoulders is evenly distributed and is comfortable to hold everyday. I am 5'5" and when the straps are down all the way, the bottom is just above my rear. The only problem I had with mine was that the top handle started to fray, but it was easily sewn up. I would recommend this backpack to anyone because of the beautiful craftsmanship, quality, and organization this backpack has to offer! June 8, 2013
