Great for Airline Travel - Form meets Function Bought this bag in Ribbons for an upcoming trip by plane. I absolutely LOVED its functionality. It is the perfect hands free travel companion. I chose to use this purse for my entire trip. There are plenty of pockets for "plastic" money and smaller zipper compartments for small loose items or change. I used the main zipper compartment for a Motorola Atrix smart phone, lip color & chap stick and tissues. I kept my boarding passes in the back slip pocket which kept them secure yet easily accessed for boarding. Since returning, I still have not switched back into my regular purse (yes, another Vera). I love the color, too. The color doesn't show dirt (a plus) and even though it is navy, the bright pink flowers make it colorful, and the smaller pattern/print make it a great choice for a small bag. A great little cross body bag!!!!! January 9, 2013
Dress up like a, mini hipster. I have had my mini hipster in midnight blues for about two months now. I was a little worried at first because sometimes my gift cards and credit cards don't fit in the little card pockets that are built up inside but they fit! I am completely in-love with this purse and since I bought it I have not felt the need to buy a new purse which says something; I usually buy a new purse once a month. I can fit my check-book, my mini calendar, mini address book, a bottle of lotion, up to three pens, and when you open the flap there is a zipper pouch inside where I "hide" my money which is nice. On the back of the mini hipster there is a pouch and my iPhone 5 fits in it perfectly as long as the phone case isn't too big. So if you have an Otter Box case it will certainly not fit. This purse can fit all your basic necessities for the day. If you are used to having a lot of things in your purse then this might not be for you, but if you are only wanting the few basics then I highly recommend this mini hipster. You will fall completely in-love with it, and it comes in tons of styles! Don't be alarmed by the size of the strap when you get it, you can adjust it and the fabric is not fragile, I have had no problems with the fabric it is very strong/sturdy just take good care of your purse. Mini and mighty The Mini Hipster is the perfect purse. I picked one up in the beautiful Canterberry Cobalt back in October and I have not quit using it since. The back slip pocket is perfect for receipts, cell phone, anything you need to have on hand. The large compartment zips closed and holds two Vera Bradley Tech Cases (one holds Chapstick, mini hand sanitizer, and spare keys to my family's car and the other is attached to my house keys) comfortably with a bit of room to spare. The front pocket has a snap for a closure and opens up to an expandable pocket with six card slots (the slots are not tight at all; I can fit two or three cards to a slot). Underneath the same flap is a clear pocket for your ID. Then, on the front there is a zip pocket where I keep my phone (iPhone 4 with a fairly thin case). This zip pocket would fit an Otterbox, but it would be difficult to slide in and out. An Otterbox fits very well in the back slip pocket or in the center zip compartment. I will carry this purse for many years to come! January 7, 2014
