Great Diaper Bag I decided to get a VB diaper bag when I was pregnant with my second child and I thought the Baby Bag was way too small. I was drawn to this one because of the outside end pockets (a must for me because I ALWAYS carry a drink with me). At first it seemed too huge and I wasn't sure if I'd want to carry it around all the time, but now with my two little ones, I don't know how I'd live without it! My only complaint is that it fits so much that it gets really heavy and its hard to stuff into the storage compartment on a stroller, but I guess that's my own fault for having to carry around so much stuff. Great bag, I think I'll get another one. Tip: if using as a diaper bag, a matching Large Cosmetic bag works great for holding diapers, wipes, and a changing pad! July 27, 2011
Perfect for Dancers!! I recently went to a dance convention in NYC and this bag was a HUGE help. Being that there are more than 200 dancers in a tiny ballroom and each one has a dance bag with them, there is little space. This also makes it hard to spot your bag and change shoes in between classes. That's why I was thankful for the get carried away bag. This bag was easy to spot from across the room and held all of mine and my two friends' belongings. This is what it held: ~3 pairs of jazz shoes ~3 pairs of sneakers ~3 pairs of ballet shoes ~3 pairs of lyrical shoes ~7 water bottles ~3 pairs of sweatpants ~3 pairs of socks ~3 shirts ~a few granola bars and pretzels This bag is also great for dance competitions and recitals, as it can fit anything and everything under the sun. Not to mention, it's adorable and all of your dance friends will be jealous! June 10, 2013
Great bag/tote - perfect for twins I bought this today while having a moment of panic about the impending birth of my twins. I had originally purchased a Weekender to use as my baby bag because the Vera baby bag was too small and I didn't like the Miller bag. I've now packed my Weekender as my hospital bag and realize that it's probably not going to work as an every day bag for the twins because it doesn't really open in a way that will work for me, although I still think the shape is awesome and hope to try and make it work. In any case, this bag is a nice alternative and while it is a big bag, it's structured (solid bottom) and yet still allows you to overfill (breakaway zipper) and can function as a baby bag with 8 (EIGHT) interior pockets (two lined with plastic) and at least four pockets on the outside. The strap drop length means that the bottom of the bag hits me at my hip (I'm 5 foot 7") and the straps themselves are padded. Granted I'm 34 weeks with twins, but I don't think this bag is that big. And because we also have a three year old I know what I'm in for in terms of carrying stuff for the babies and for my toddler (not to mention my DSLR to catch all those precious moments). Now I'm ready for the babies! June 30, 2012
