I purchased the Glenna in English Rose and just love it. I actually went into the store planning on buying the Whitney but they didn't have it in English Rose (my favorite color along with Blue Lagoon). I started looking around and came upon the Glenna, which I like so much better. I use this as my purse and I like pockets so I can keep myself organized, and this fits the bill. There's lots of room but it does not get bulky and feels very light. I recently went shopping at the mall and it did not weigh me down as some other bags do. I'm just thrilled with my purchase and plan on buying this in Island Blooms for summer.

not a good design
zipper is too low, doesnt let us use all space, and the bag is heavy before you put anything into it.

I belived the hype, YOU SHOULD TOO!
When I first heard the reviews on the Glenna, I couldn't wait to get my hands on one and AM I EVER GLAD I DID!!!
You get such a great purse with lots of compartments and tons of room. You can fit SO much in here! The straps are the perfect length and it fits so easily on your shoulder.
I have one in Bittersweet and Midnight Blue and can't wait to get my hands on a Canterbury Magenta!!
I HIGHLY recommend this purse to anyone looking for a larger bag!

Perfect for Daily Use
I got this bag a little over a year ago in Ribbons and I love it! It still holds up great. I never tried washing it before either. I always took it to school with me and basically packed my life away in it. I always carry everything with me. It all fit and was easily organizable with the two outside pockets and the little ones in the main compartment. I packed my makeup, pencils, phone, calculator, scissors, band-aids, mirror, hair spray, hair brush and hair ties, water; you name it, I had it.

Nice Bag, but...
I do love this bag. I bought it in Heather and spent almost an hour trying to decide between this one and two others. I can fit just about everything in it. Here is what is in my bag on a regular basis: Wallet (medium size), business cards, checkbook, glass case, iPhone 5, lots of cosmetics floating on the bottom,, three hand creams, a compact mirror, coupons, a Life Planner (imagine a big book), and a Kindle Paperwhite. It all fits and zips up. The straps are a perfect height to find things one needs without looking. The inner pockets are the perfect size for small items and organize the little tidbits that might get lost, and the outer pockets are deep enough that I don't really think anyone could steal from them. Those are the pros. The cons: it is a heavy bag. I do not know where the weight comes from (without all my stuff), but with the bare minimum things, my back does start to hurt after carrying it for an hour or two. The straps are nice and wide; however, I am petite, so they fall off my shoulders after a bit. Lastly, the bottom is small, so the everything within the purse gravitates towards the center unless the purse is completely full. All in all, I like the bag, but it is not the perfect bag for me. Also I love the color Heather.

My All Time Favorite
The organization options are endless with the deep outer pockets for phones, keys and quick grab items. the inside is deep with pockets and a zipper section. This is definitely my go to bag for everything. It holds everything including my travelling cofee thermos. LOVE IT!!!!

New Favorite Style
For years, the Bowler has been my "go-to" style....But I've just recently purchased the Glenna.....It's PERFECT in every way. It's my "Goldilocks" handbag....Just Right! I was fortunate enough to get it on sale and am so glad I took a chance. I'm sure I'll be getting another one very soon....sale or no sale....I'm a happy camper!

Nice in many ways with a small flaw
I am new to Vera Bradley. I bought this bag a month ago or so. Since then I have also purchased a few other VB bag, but this bag seems to have much higher quality -- it is thickly quilted and sturdy, able to hold heavy stuff and still maintain its shape. I like its curvy top look, ideal length of straps (11") for staying on shoulder and not clash with my arm, good size and all the pockets. However one thing that bothers me a bit is the zipper being directly sewn on the two walls, leaving a lot smaller space inside when zipped. I think the zipper should use some extension of fabric instead of on the walls directly because this bag has fairly wide bottom. Because of this flaw, I can not put a bulky item in it and zip it and expect the bag to look nice. This being said, I have found I could also use this bag like a tote, not using the zipper, particularly when I carry a large leather folder (9.75"x12.75"). My bag is in the color of indigo pop, which nicely matches with a lot of my clothing items. I think this is one bag I can buy again if another nice quieter color pattern comes along. I am not crazy about loud patterns. Overall I still highly recommend this bag despite the flaw mentioned above.

Favorite bag EVER!
I first bought this bag when it was called the "Carry All Tote" during the limited edition summer patterns it was in the red with the white pinstripe with the fish interior. Then I saw the Glenna and I was so excited to be able to get my all time favorite bag in a pattern. The two outside pockets are deep enough for a phone in one and keys in another, zippered top keeps everything inside the bag and I love that the zipper is slightly recessed. The slip pockets keep me organized, my eyeglass case fits in one, zippered pocket for make up and my wallet in the middle and I'm out the door. The bag doesn't feel heavy on my shoulder and even with how much I carry doesn't look stuffed. I love how the patterns look so pretty with out being broken up. Just over all it's my favorite bag EVER!
