I got this backpack for my 8th grade year. I usually highly recommend Vera Bradley as I am in love with the brand. However about 4 months into my schooling session i noticed the print on the bag was starting to wear off in the bottom. Please note I used this book bag VERY gently. The majority of my school books were kept in my locker. Although the pocket space is good and the straps are very comfortable; I began to worry about my book bag as more of the print began to fade. Near the end of my school year i tool it to a tailor and they said it was tearing. I was so angry. This book bag didn't last so much as a year. I will be looking for a different brand for this upcoming year to say the LEAST.

I have never been so satisfied with any type of bag then I am with this one! I am able to fit so many items and the bag still feels extremely light weight.
On a daily bases I can fit:
1. Six 1 inch binders
2. 6 large notebooks
3. TI-84 Calculator
4. The Vera Bradley Brush and Pencil case with many items inside
5. 2 books (very large)
6. School ID (there is a pouch/slot for student ID"s)
7. My school planner notebook
8. My own little planner notebook
9. Safe area for my perfume bottle
10. safe, organized compartment for scissors
11, Much, much more!
Highly recommend this backpack for High School and College Students. Defenitly worth the price (especially when on sale).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Natattack Best backpack I've Ever Had!
I bought my campus backpack, for high school, in ellie blue back when this pattern was on sale in early 2013. This is the best backpack i have ever had! I would literally get compliments everyday! The maximum I've held in my backpack is three full size text books and a lunch and it held up so well. A planner can easily fit in the front pocket and the little odds and ends i would usually put in a purse fit in the pockets easily. The weight in the shoulders is evenly distributed and is comfortable to hold everyday. I am 5'5" and when the straps are down all the way, the bottom is just above my rear. The only problem I had with mine was that the top handle started to fray, but it was easily sewn up. I would recommend this backpack to anyone because of the beautiful craftsmanship, quality, and organization this backpack has to offer!
