great large backpack
I am a college student and this year I had so many books. So this backpack was perfect! It could carry all of my books and notebooks. I even had room for a large binder and folders. I also love other front pockets. The one in the front even held my kindle fire! I love this backpack.

Best backpack I've Ever Had!
I bought my campus backpack, for high school, in ellie blue back when this pattern was on sale in early 2013. This is the best backpack i have ever had! I would literally get compliments everyday! The maximum I've held in my backpack is three full size text books and a lunch and it held up so well. A planner can easily fit in the front pocket and the little odds and ends i would usually put in a purse fit in the pockets easily. The weight in the shoulders is evenly distributed and is comfortable to hold everyday. I am 5'5" and when the straps are down all the way, the bottom is just above my rear. The only problem I had with mine was that the top handle started to fray, but it was easily sewn up. I would recommend this backpack to anyone because of the beautiful craftsmanship, quality, and organization this backpack has to offer!

Great quality, will last a while
I bought this backpack in Feb. this year. It holds a decent load daily for a sixth grader, with the maximum being two textbooks, a one inch binder, four composition notebooks, and a spiral notebook (which does not include writing utensils, water bottle, etc.). My only complaint is that the pockets on the side are not quite deep enough to hold my Camelbak water bottle (it has fallen out). There have been no problems with the straps, zippers, base, or any part of the bag. I purchased it in Plum Crazy, and it covers all stains well. I would recommend this bag to anyone in school who does NOT have a huge load, as the book bag can only hold so much. Overall, this has been the best backpack I have had before.

Great backpack for my daughter & I!
I purchased the Va Va Bloom backpack for my daughter to start jr. high school. She was able to put her clothes, shoes, toiletries, and school supplies (netbook, folders, binder and varies school supplies) in the backpack and still have plenty of room. (My daughter has athletics1st period, so she had to take extra clothes with her everyday to school). I loved how much room the backpack had and how much room she still had by carrying the backpack everyday, that I bought me one in Ellie Blue. I am a school teacher and I ride the train to work and I realized that I could put all my school supplies, lunch bag, and varies accessories in the backpack and still have extra room. The only thing I wished it had was a small zipper pocket to keep money or bus pass in, but other than that. THIS IS A GREAT BACKPACK, if you need, like, or want a lot of room. I can't wait to see the new colors to purchase two more for the upcoming new school year '13-'14.

Love the Print; Backpack NOT Durable
I purchased this backpack for grad school in September. I use it everyday, but it's never full. It's under a year old and there are already several holes. I'm very disappointed with the quality of this item. I expect better from a company like Vera Bradley who used to make beautiful bags that lasted a long time.

Great for middle school
I bought this for my daughter last August and it still looks great. She carries it to school every day. It fits two two inch binders, a book and a pencil box -- she uses a medium cosmetic case as a pencil box. Even though the backpack was expensive, it is worth the price. It is very sturdy, has nicely padded straps, is very well made and looks awesome.

Best backpack hands down :)
I received this backpack in Va Va Bloom for my last birthday and I am so glad that I begged my parents to get it for me!!! ;) This backpack is the perfect bag for middle schoolers, high schoolers, or even college students!! I can fit the following inside: a 1-2 inch binder, two textbooks, (or one textbook the size of two, and yes, there are textbooks that size), my Vera Bradley Brush and Pencil bag, a book to read, a folder, and a spiral. Even with all of this inside I STILL have a good amount of room left over!! Thank you Vera Bradley for making such an amazing product. I would recommend this to anyone! I think I even inspired my younger sister to save up for one herself!! This is definitely the best backpack I've owned, hands down.

Great backpack
I received this backpack in paisley mets plaid for Christmas I decided I wanted to use it for school it fits a folder,lunchbox,medium size planer and has many pockets I highly recommend this for school.

This backpack is FANTABULOUS!
I love this backpack, I am in the 6th grade and it works great! My mom was concerned about the price and if it was worth, it but It totally was! I can fit text books, notebooks, a lunch box, a pencil case and more.The cute patterns give a funky pop in a swarm of boring backpacks!

Nice bag but not made well.
My mother bought this bag for my daughter for Christmas. Within 2 months the handle tore from the seams. She can't hang the bag in her locker at school. Very disappointed with the quality of this bag-- especially for the price!
