Great bag on the go!
I recently got this purse for my birthday a week ago and I absolutley love it! I got this bag in the pattern "Marina Paisley" and I get so many compliments when I waer it! It's a great bag for summer! Well done Vera Bradley!

Fill and go bag!
I purchased the Vera and the Mini Hipster in Line's Away to take on a Cruise. I used the Vera filled with my medicine,camers,cell phone,etc all the important things I need on the plane ride to Puerto Rico.I also put my mini hipster inside to use later to take off the ship on the cruise the next day. We spent the first night in a hotel at P.R. In the middle of the night we had a fire drill and had to evacuate the hotel.I grabbed my mini hipster as we left but hadn't filled it yet. When we were allowed back to our rooms I sat on the bed and filled the bag. I was able to put my passport,pill box ,cell phone ,camera,lipstick,gum, etc. In the ID pocket I was able to put my Sea Pass card and picture license which I needed to get off and on the ship.I swore when I got home I would write this review because the mini hipster was the perfect hands free bag to have on a cruise. I have not changed back to one of my other Vera bags yet because I have found how much I can fit in a smaller bag including my cell phone,lipstick,and car keys.
An important lesson I learned by this experience is to keep your packed purse ( Vera Bradley of course),next to the bed when staying in a hotel.If we were unable to return to our rooms I would've have my passport, money ID, etc.What a wake up call!

Amusment Park Purse
I just received this bag to carry along with me while I go to an amusment park for a field trip. We are responsible for carrying our own stuff and keep track of our own money. I can fit my money either in the front pockets because it has a built in wallet-like compartment. I am taking along with me
hand sanitizer (the small pocket sized one), sunglasses (also when riding roller coasters I can be assured they aren't going anywhere with the zipper compartments), oil absorbing sheets (incase I get sweaty), a map of the amusment park, lip moisturizer, and a sunscreen stick (the small travel sized ones that looks like a glue stick). I am sure you can carry some more small things but those were just my necessities. It had a nice cross body strap that is comfortable. Since the bag is small there isn't the temptation to take more than you really need, making it light weight. For younger children I suggest the (normal/small) Backpack, with less pockets, easy to access features, light weight, with even weight on both shoulders. I also enjoy carrying the Backpack when going to places where you will be walking a lot and doing things, so it is also great for older girls/women too. I might have to invest in another of the Mini Hipster.

Perfect for Concealed Carry!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this purse! It is the perfect size. The back pocket of the purse is perfect for a sale phone. I have the LG Spectrum 2 and it fits perfect.The big zipper compartment on the outside of the purse is the perfect size for a handgun. That's the biggest reason I got the purse was to conceal and carry. Once you open the compartment, there is plenty of room for your credit cards, lipstick..etc. I bought the EURO Wallet to go with this purse but it is too big for the purse. So I am going to use the zip id case from vera Bradley. It will be the perfect size for this purse!

great as a purse
I was looking for a new purse..something small because i don't carry alot and don't want to carry alot. I found this mini hipster and it is perfect! it carries my id, credit and debit card perfectly. it also fits my nook. It is small and compact and perfect for someone who doesn't want to carry alot around. It also allows easy accessibly for anything you need in it. I got it in midnight blues and love the pattern.

Use it all the time!
I got my mini hipster last spring, and i'm getting another this spring! It is tiny so it doesn't make your outfit look awkward , but has lots of compartments (i think 3). I'm in middle school , so i just carry around things like gum, extra money, pencils, my phone, then some little things like cahpstick and hand sanitizer. I have it in summer cottage and i use it mostly from march to september. When im out and i have it on i have to check a couple times to see if i left it some where because its so comfortable you dont feel a thing! I don't have the newer version but i saw it at the Vera Bradley store how it has the chain the moves it up and down to the perfect lenght and I also loved that feature! I have nothing bad to say about this purse and theres now many cute colors , I want them all!

i lone this mini hipster!!!!!! i use it as my purse and it can fit every thing plus MORE!!!!!! there is a place for everything. i would defiantly recomend this to a friend

Sweet Little Bag!!
I bought myself the Mini Hipster in Indigo Pop a few months ago & really love it. I needed something that I could use as a wallet/purse & this fit the bill. My only complaint is that I tend to stuff too many things into the little zipper compartments which makes the bag 'bulge-y' and causes the magnetic snap not to hold properly...and the narrowness of the strap sometimes twists if I just throw it over my shoulder. I do, however, love all of the compartments & the size of this bag.

Whhhy?
Just got my mini hipster in the mail today and I'm going to have to return it because the strap is way too short. I didn't think I would have to worry about the strap length because I'm 5'2" but when I tried it on the bag didn't even go to my hip. How does this make any sense?
