My new favorite tote I wished they'd keep around
This is my new favorite. I usually get the Vera bag, which is great for large items. This feels more like a purse and I'm now using this everyday. I wish they'd keep the Three-O tote around longer to be able to purchase in newer patterns.

Good alternative to the Villager
This bag is one of the largest purses available from Vera Bradley. Sadly it replaced the Villager. I hope VB will bring back Villager.and if on the retired list, decide to keep Three O tote, even retooled to take customer comments to heart. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Vera Bradley bags, and prefer a larger purse to use on an every day basis. Please don't discontinue the Three O if its the onl large purse you'll carry. I can deal with smaller pockets inside, etc. And the longer strap drop is important too..the ability to put the bag over my shoulders. When I have a big coat on is a MUST.

Interior pockets are small
I own 4 of these. I read several reviews before purchasing a new V.B. style. Most of the reviews compared this bag to the Villager which I had never carried before purchasing the Three o Tote. I have since then purchased a Villager (only one though). So here goes my opinion on the two bags. The Three o Tote has small interior pockets which are set lower in the bag than what I would expect considering the pockets on most VB bags. There are also several seams on the interior that mislead you to think it is a slip pocket when reality is that it is the seam from the outside pockets (hope that makes since). The bag is quilted on the inside which is a plus and the strap drop is good and sits on the shoulder with plenty of room. I have not washed any of mine but have noticed with minimal use that the top of the bag especially around the zipper area is starting to lose a little shape (not really that big of a deal) and I believe this is because the zipper does not sit at the top of the bag like the Villager does. Rather the three o tote has a zipper that is recessed about an inch from the top of the bag. I prefer the shoulder strap of the three o tote due to it is wider and it starts at the top of the bag. The villager strap starts at the bottom of the bag and stops about three inches below the top of the bag. I would prefer that the strap go all the way to the top of the bag so the strap would not look so sloppy. I do sew and have been thinking about sewing the strap on up higher to almost the zipper. Just haven't been brave enough or taken the time to do it. So with all that being said neither bags are one of my favorite VB bags and I own plenty. Would rather have a Laura.

Great Tote for Lots of Uses!!
I love this tote. I have it in Midnight Blues, and it fits pretty much everything. VERA PLEASE KEEP MAKING THE LONG STRAPS, they are great. I use it for school/work, I can easily put my ID, cell phone, other stuff like that in the 2 big pockets on the outside.. Also, the size of it is perfect. It fits a lot of stuff, I have my school binders/books, and I can still manage to fit in a water bottle or something small like that. I like the zipper, it makes me feel more secure about my stuff in there. I highly recommend buying this bag to anyone because it is cute and very useful!!

Big bag/lots of uses
I have this tote in Plaid meets Paisley. It is unbelievable how much you can fit in it. I have several thin folders for my work, my lunch with drink, wallet, medications with sugar testing meter, smalls(like lip gloss), that fit in the inside pockets. The 2 outside pockets are great! I put my cell phone .car keys and my work ID in them for quick access. And I still have more room! You won't be sorry if you get this bag.

Love the long straps
Vera , PLEASE keep the long straps (11 & 12") it's so nice to be able to put up on shoulder with coats. Also plus size women need the longer strap. This bag is nice but would love it to be wider, a tad too narrow.

MY PROS AND CONS WITH THE THREE-O TOTE
I purchased this tote in the Limes Up print which is quite adorable. Here are my Pros:
has 2 big outside pockets.
Has several inside organizing pockets.
Here are my Cons:
Straps too long, would have preferred 10"
Base too small; falls short of 4' would have preferred 5'
Otherwise would have given it 5 stars instead of 4.
VERA PLEASE STOP MAKING YOUR STRAPS TOO LONG AND MAKE THIS TOTE SLIGHTLY WIDER!

LOVE THIS BAG!
this bag is amazing. i went for this bag when the villager was discontinued, and im so happy with it. it's the perfect size, can fit all my daily essentials and if i need to throw in a sweater or even a textbook and notebook, theres plenty of room. but its not too big. i have it in doodle daisy and folk loric. love the front outside pocket that fits my phone, keys and sunglasses. and the back outside zip pocket is an extra perk. at first i was hesitant that the inside pockets were made of the thin material, not the sturdy quilted kind like i had in the villager. but it has not been a problem at all. i had a bag before- the morgan- and those thin pockets were placed higher up on the inside and everything would fall out of them, and the stuff half hanging out would always get in the way. But i haven't had any of those problems at all. i totally love it and am probably going to get it in another color. love it.

This is an ok bag. I love the size and shape because it is around the size of a large purse in a tote shape. The zipper is great to keep items secure. I love the two outer pockets as well. It's always nice to have one that zips and one that is open. What I don't like are the inner pockets. I became a big fan of Vera bags recently due to their functionality. I kind of expect large, deep pockets and lots of them from VB. This bag falls short because the four pockets are just too small. I wish they had made at least one side a very large pocket. That would have allowed for better organization. Sadly, I don't have a Villager which everyone seems to compare this bag; but, if so many people are asking for that bag back (and the Pleated Tote) I can't help but wonder why they were discontinued. I trust reviews from actual viewers more than a companies description of an item and would love to buy both of those bags based on reviews alone. I will use this bag; but, I will probably not purchase another 3 0 Tote. I'm holding out for a better design.
