Love this bag!
I was carrying the Alice bag in Totally Turq (which is also awesome), but fell in love with the new Island Blooms print. I went into my local Vera dealer, and the Laura bag caught my eye. It has all the room of a larger bag, but is not bulky. All the pockets on the inside are great, and the Island Blooms print is so pretty for spring. In the few weeks I have been carrying it, I have gotten many compliments on it.

Another great bag by Vera!
I love this bag! :) it has the 3 inner pockets which helps me stay organized and a small one which i can use for my phone or my debit card when running out on errands. I am able to fit more than i thought - a small cosmetic bag, turn lock wallet and everyday papers. I love the outer pockets for my keys and/or phone.

Lots of Room
I have owned many different Vera Bradley style purses for over a decade and the Laura has become my favorite. There is plenty of room with multiple pockets on the inside and a convenient pocket on the outside that has a zipper compartment as well. I keep a cigarette pack on the outside pocket ..making it easily accessible. The inside pockets organize this purse. I never have to dig for anything..it's right where I need it. When my phone rings...I don't worry..I can't get to it fast. When I am shopping the purse is very comfortable on my shoulder. There is enough room to place a small shopping bag like books or cd's inside it. I just love it and will be re-purchasing this style in the future. I got Plum Crazy and get compliments all the time. I never thought I would like a larger bag...but I am hooked. The Laura has alot of room and organization ... and it doesn't look like a big purse!

Bag Buckles when interior zip pocket is used
I bought this bag after I read the reviews and was very disappointed. First I put my Vera Bradley snap wallet in the interior zip pocket and it caused the bag to buckle under and not sit straight. It seems that the pocket sags the gap between pocket and bases causes, the base to pop up making the bag off center.. Also with my IPAD in an otterbox is about the only thing that fits in the center compartment. When you place items in the interior pockets it takes away from the center compartment, which usually doesn't occur with most Vera Bradley's bags. The bag felt heavy which I think might be due to it being off centered when anything is placed in inside zipper compartment. Also the magnetic closure is weak and all items must be placed lower than the closure therefore the over all size of the bag is less. A zipper would have been a better choice..

My very first Vera Bradley!
I love, love, love this bag! Its so roomy with a ton of pockets inside. I love everything about this bag! I am hooked and I'm going to buy another bag soon.

Wonderful bag for everyday use
I have this bag in 3 different patterns, Floral nightengale,Canyon and Mocha Rouge. I absolutely love this style. Zipper pocket and slip pocket on the outside makes keeping you keys and cell phone handy. Decent size zipper pocket on the inside. I love all the pockets on the inside to keep smaller things that normally fall to the bottom of a bag. Sits nicely on your shoulder will shopping. I have 5 other styles and this by far is my "go to" style.

My "Mom's Day Out" Bag
I love this bag! It fits my 10.5" tall water bottle perfectly, as well as the essentials for a day out with my 6 month old baby. The inside pockets are big enough to fit several bottles and some diapers. The inside zippered pocket is perfect for small items and the small pocket below it can hold a phone or iPod.
Although I do prefer bags with a zip top, I find that the combination of the snap and the cinching on this bag is enough to keep everything secure. I've never had a problem with items fall from my bag. It also fits perfectly in the basket beneath my stroller.
I purchased mine in Ribbons and would certainly consider purchasing it in another color.

Laura converted me into a VB lover
The Laura was the first VB bag I ever bought. I LOVE it! I had been carrying a leather handbag but it was heavy and I really had to protect it from precipitation. I saw the Laura online and was really drawn to the shape and size. It's sized like a smaller tote and the cinching gives it such a pretty, feminine shape. I love the pockets on the inside. I like having one zipped pocket to store personal products and medications if needed, and the slip pockets are perfect for organizing chapsticks, hair ties, tissues, lotion, pens, etc. There is one smaller slip pocket that's just the right size for my iPhone 5. I use the slip pocket on the outside for my car keys (attached to the zip ID case), and I use the front zip pocket for extra cash, change, or coupons I plan to use. The interior of the bag is roomy. I always carry my wallet, a 4x6" planner, a small notebook, and the VB coin purse. Depending on what I'm doing or where I'm going, it's easy to toss in my iPad, a water bottle, a lightweight sweater, a book, etc. Even with extra, larger items, the Laura does not get weighed down. The straps are nice and long and the width allows them to rest comfortably on my shoulder. I've had the Laura in Plum Crazy for about two months now and it still looks brand new. I appreciate that if I get caught in snow or rain, it's not a big deal since the bag is fabric, and I also really love the ability to machine wash it. I almost didn't buy this bag because I do prefer a zippered top, but between the magnetic closure and the cinching, I feel that my belongings are secure. Definitely recommend this beautiful bag!
