Amazing backpack for Travel I loved the reviews that told me how much I could fit. My family and I just traveled out of country and we put all of the important stuff in the backpack and it still fit under the seat on the airplane with room to spare for my feet beside it. Here goes the list, and really it all fit: Back zip: Wallet, 3 passports with travel documents, and a hand towel (never leave home without one, strange I know) Left side: Metal water bottle (empty going through checkpoints) Right side: Lotion and old ipod Interior: 2 magazines, iPad, Samsung Tablet, Kindle fire, Nook color, Nook black and white, Sm camera, Coffee mug, iTouch, Uno cards, old ipod (husbands), 3-1-1 bag with sm knitting project, sm stuffed animal, sm cosmetic with snacks inside, pair of headphones that folds flat. Front: Sm cosmetic with 4 pens, post-its and receipts And after the travel was done: unpack and wash! Truly a great backpack that held everything my family needed and more. January 5, 2014
Good but.. I purchased this backpack last year for my sophomore year of high school and it worked really well, I have it in ribbons and I love it. It holds alot of stuff and I just overall love it. However, it may hold a lot of stuff but the bag isn't meant for that, I got a huge tear on the back of the bag at the end of the first semester. I still use it as I have just ordered a new bag, and the straps are about to come right out, you can see the pieces on the inside. I also have a friend who was in study hall with me one day and she stood up and her strap just completely broke off. This is due to putting in more things then it is supposed to hold, however if you don't try to put a lot in it really is a great bag. February 8, 2014
Only one flaw I ordered this backpack online (& on sale!) to use for an extended vacation which would include day trips and sightseeing with my husband. A big selling point was the zipper pocket on the back to keep wallet and valuables secure. The pack worked really well. Valuables were put in the back pocket. Unlike many VB backpacks, the side pockets are big enough for a water bottle. We also used them for umbrella & cell phone. The main compartment held lightweight jackets, an ipad mini, sandwiches/snacks and purchases. The front compartment was good for things we wanted to get quickly like sunglasses and lip gloss. My ONLY complaint is that the straps are uncomfortable for me--5'1" tall. The buckles on the straps hit right at my armpits. A lower buckle placement would have rated this a 5 star winner.
